Hi, All of our GVM Upgrades work for both the Bi-Turbo and V6 so you shouldn't have any issues. Currently we have the 3.5 and a 3.85T GVM Upgrade's available. However, we have a 4.05T coming soon. it only needs an upgrade if you overload it---like any car

Unfortunately for some people, "overloaded" is just their family, some accessories and a caravan on the back. Doesn't seem unreasonable to me.

Why would you upgrade the GVM on a 1500 when the Silverado comes in 2500 and 3500. The 3500HD DRW has a GVM of 14,000lbs/6,350kg.

@@OhWhatFun You have some weird restrictions over there. I have a class 3 (F450) in Maryland and there is nothing stopping me from driving 115kph/70mph after a 2 beer lunch.
