I have a pattern using worsted weight yarn which was included in the kit and 7 mesh plastic canvas. In the instructions for the yarn it says to use one strand of yarn for all stitching. Does this mean I should I should remove one strand from each color I will be using?

@@JoyceLeibach no you don’t have to, you can use your yarn as it is, the thicker the better for this pattern for more vibrant color.

Thank you for showing how it works up. That’s super helpful! I just did this stitch as part of the (free) Mary Maxim Emma doll, on her winter coat and hat. It looked like a lot of bars showing, but once done up, u don’t see them anymore, as shown in ur video. Does double stranded still look good with this or will that mess up the shaping? I used a light worsted yarn and I feel like ya still see the bars cause the yarn is so thin. I’ve probably rewound it 100x and stretched it like taffy to make it thin like that.

Once you follow the hole counts and do the outline first ( black ) the white would easy just fill it

I didnt print the pattern myself haha i was just doing it live on the camera using my imaginations. Lol but you know what thats a good idea
