I don’t mind the ship, but a like that their FRIENDS in this because this proves my point/I agree with this? I just- I feel like everyone takes a friendship and immediately turns it into a ship, and I just- people can have deep bonds with people and be best friends! Their are deep platonic bonds, it doesn’t have to be romantic! Between this ship and people shipping Eraser- look, I really like the Rooftop Trio, Oboro, Aizawa, and Present Mic being best friends- but their are so many fanfictions where people put - and argghhhh, they’re BEST friends! They have a deep bond, (platonic) they’re the rooftop trio, one of their best friends died, of course Aiwaza and Yamanda are going to be close! You can have FRIENDS BEST FRIENDS without putting a ship there! Their best friend died! Of course they’re going to be close! Not to mention that/what people keep doing to Class 1-A- just let people have friends, for the love of- look, they’re is no evidence of a ship in the show (as far as I know) except for one canon pairing- look, I got the impression that- but why does everyone keep shipping- look I don’t mind all of-- NO- Just let people be friends! You know when I first watched this when it came out it got me real excited because this dude was spitting facts I was expecting some heart whelming reveal of the traitor so when alyoma coming out as the traitor was like a hit in the nuts because bro I got sad like why him I forgot he's a character some times he was such a joke character whyy him I wanted a heart wrenching reveal that'll make me cry in anguish not crying of disappointment😢

To this day, the fact that it wasn't kaminari is the reason I stopped watching the show. Because not only we're all those perfect points merely coincidence. But the true UA traitor was someone that me and many others did not care about. Turning it into a really anti-climactic finish.

I really love this theory, even listening to this video now. The truth doesn't really matter, to me at least, because what you presented here would have been an awesome twist. And not just because ppl didn't really expect it to be Kaminari, but because of the motivation you explained here. It would have been so refreshing, so unique! And oh, all the drama potential! I mean, anyone betraying the group would have been a shock (at least to the characters, if not for the audience 😉), but the reason of the betrayal differentiates the flavor of the drama, if it makes sense. Him betraying them essentially because of a personality disorder his quirk gave him, just peak idea for me! Especially that this way his good side would not only have been an act, it would still be there, missing his friends just like they are missing him, oh the sweet angst!
