Hello! Ive tweaked my settings since that video- currently: 3840x2160, DLSS Super Resolution, Performance, Frame Gen off, Sharpening 0, V sync on, low latency on, 100% refresh rate, hdr 10 off, rendering quality custom. I think I had frame generation on when I made this video...

Hi! Thanks for your question! I've been playing around with my graphic settings and Nvidia settings quite a lot lately! I find the right settings depends on so many things and can be quite an individual thing. I've been trying to eliminate a monitor ghosting issue (trails of pixels) so I've changed my settings yet again. I'm happy to share my settings as they are right now but I would encourage you to try and find what works for you. At the moment I have frame generation on and I have a custom profile for msfs graphics plus my Nvidia graphics settings (outside msfs) are mostly set to align with msfs. I also have the latest graphics card driver installed...

Hi! I flew this in real time so it was a very long day!! The flight took about 7 hours plus I had to spend extra time on other shots like the terminals at Heathrow! Hope you enjoyed! :)

It amazes me too! I love all that too plus I'm really liking things like pulling up to the terminal after a flight and seeing people walking around in the terminal (at some airports - like FlyTampa Boston)!

No A380 available in the sim yet... but it's coming... It's sad that many operators either already have retired or plan to retire their A380s. At least Emirates will have quite a few flying for quite some time yet!

@@Balkanflyer Emirates will keep them until mid 2030, Korean Air 2026. There is still time my friend to ride experience these masterpiece. When they retired Concorde I cried unfortunately I was too young to afford do anything at the time. This time not taking any chance I'm buying tickets to Dubai and Incheon soon

Qatar Airways also have theirs still running but not for too long! I've flown Emirates A380 quite a lot of times but I prefer Qatar. Etihad also an option but haven't flown on them yet!

They also fly it to London Heathrow (which is where I've flown on it most often) as well as Perth and Sydney I think. Bangkok? A lot including great food at great prices! Also useful jumping off point to get to other places in SE Asia with good fares (at least pre-pandemic) to get there from Europe.

Hi! There are some flying lessons within the sim. Some of the planes have checklists built into the electronic flight bags (the tablets within the flight deck) but I think your best bet is to probably to watch a few tutorial videos on KZbin 😉

😄 was like that in the beginning for me a bit! I created my own checklists from watching KZbin videos to get the aircraft set up... if you start on the runway then your engines will already be running - one less thing to worry about!

Hi! It really varies but mid 40s on average maybe generally with full traffic and weather and custom third party scenery. My experience is the same as yours with regards to GPU usage. I get nowhere near 100% usage - not even 50% or 40%. My CPU on the other hand is almost always 100%...!

Hi! Thank you very much! :) If you use GSX Pro (made by FSDreamTeam) then you can see passengers (and crew) boarding etc. These shots were mostly done using drone mode which is very useful for recording scenes like this :)

Ah you need to explore your GSX settings. There are a few relevant options in there including things like disabling the bus and customising where exactly passengers walk from and route they take to the aircraft etc... have a dig around in there and I think you will find what you're looking for. Access the settings via (I think) 'Customise airport positions' in the GSX menu when you select ctrl+shift+f12 (or just click on the gsx 'button' on the menu within the sim... hope that makes sense!

No problem! Drone camera is the answer - personally I use an xbox controller plugged into my PC (on which I run flight sim) to use the drone camera. If you are running flight sim on a PC then I would definitely recommend getting a wired xbox controller (can be a cheap generic one) to use it... you can activate the drone camera by assigning a key on control options for keyboard or by pressing the camera button within the sim on the on-screen menu

Hi! Varies depending on scenery and amount of traffic but probably about 35fps to 40fps on ground with heavy traffic at an optimised airport (eg Rome) and 55-60fps in the air

Yea the salary isn't great unless you're already very senior (as I understand it). I would probably aim for the other carriers that @jjerz1 mentions longer term and maybe some smaller carriers in the meantime to get the hours!

Easier if you have a lot of money to start with...

Hello! Scenery is not from addons (or Google Earth) - it's the normal scenery within Microsoft Flight Simulator!

Happy to share my settings - but I've changed them around quite a lot since making that video (I'm still experimenting). I think there are a lot of other factors affecting performance and quality of the visuals including: the chip (i5-13600k overclocked to 4.5); other things running in the background (eg full traffic) and the monitor I'm using (I'm running flight sim on a 4k monitor). What chip do you have?

You should definitely get good performance... I'll try and screenshot my settings and upload in the channel description. That should give you a starting point.

@benna1990 I've now added my main settings in the channel description. Make sure photogrammetry is switched off... that made a big difference for me.

@@Balkanflyer I have too the rtx 4070ti and the new Ryzen 9 7900X3D, that can be good that you share your settings, I'm at 80 fps on average on the ground on the EGLL stage

Very happy with the 4070Ti (and I think it offers the best value out of the 40 series GPUs) - it breezes through everything. My main bottleneck is really my chip (though I do get good performance overall).

Hi! It's been a while since I flew on Vatsim but I've never had issues with late descent instructions on there. If you mean the 'in-built' ATC then I wouldn't trust it to give timely instructions for descent. You're better off planning your flights on Simbrief and checking your flightplan to see where your top of descent is... (that's what I do)

Pros and cons to both X-Plane and MSFS I think! I haven't played X-Plane in years but I did used to enjoy the replay function on there! The flight dynamics etc were (or are) far more accurate generally but I think MSFS is getting better all the time...

Good question. I've found that out of the scenarios covered in this video the FPS suffers most at Doha on the ground. I had full traffic on throughout this flight and that sometimes made it dip into mid to high 30s FPS when on the ground in Doha. Other than that the FPS were good throughout. DLSS was on. Will do a short vid sharing my settings soon!
