Some KITT Replica's do have a sound System to make them "Talk" but it is not Easy to Operate so it is best for the Car to be Stationary before using the Sound System. Wow! William Daniels, the Voice of KITT, is 97 Years Old Now! A T-Bucket! Chevrolet Small Block Motor by the sound of it! Needs a Blower however for the Big Power! '71 Lincoln Continental MKIII modified into "the Car" . 460 Cube Ford FE Block... Massive Engine, over 7 and a Half Liters! KITT was not as Powerful in Real Life as he was in Show, the "Hero" Car only had 160 Horsepower (that's all the LU-5 could Produce!) compared to the 2000 Horsepower of the shows Lore, some of the Stunt Cars were more Powerful, up to around, depending on Motor, 375 Horsepower if it had the '73 Super Duty 455 Engine Fitted such as in some the Chase Cars... but, with that being an Accurate, LU-5 Powered, Replica, 160 Horse at the Crank and closer to 115 at the Wheels as it loses a lot of power in the Transmission, so not all that Fast. Common in Hollywood however, for Example, Brian's Eclipse from the First "Fast and Furious" only had 120 Horsepower at the Crank!! that's why they took lots of "low angle" Shots to make it look like it was going a Lot Faster than it Was, so the Audience would Believe it actually had the 440 Horsepower it had "in Lore" (the "Ten Second" Supra had a full blooded 850 Wheel Horsepower However from a Heavily Upgraded, Single Turbo, Toyota 2J! it really *was* as fast as it looked!), heck, the Eclipse Didn't even have the Right Engine note, they used a Turbocharged Honda B16 Sound instead of the Correct Mitsubishi 4G63 "Sirius" Sound (but then, Dom's RX7 was dubbed with a Nissan RB26 to hide the Fact there was actually a GM V8 under the Bonnet! Craig Liebermann (the Car Finder and Advisor) had wanted it Dubbed with the Correct Mazda Rotary Sound, but the Director over-ruled him and went for the Nissan 6 Sound because it sounded "More Powerful" as the Rotary does sound more like a Deranged Two Stroke Bike than it does a Supercar..). at least they dubbed KITT Correctly with a Mix of Pratt and Whitney Turbine and Corvette LT4 V8 Sounds... (a Slightly De-Tuned (via a more Restricted Air Intake) LT4 was made available in the Trans Am in '86, in time for Knight Riders last Season) so he sounded right! Glad you had a Lovely Day. I have missed a Chapter, I had no idea you were part of a Theatre Company Now, Nice to see you are fitting in Nicely :) It has been a long time since I was last in front of an Audience. I like the Black and Pink Sweater, very Smart :) Nice safe Pair of Velcro Shoes as well I hope :) You are Braver than I am, I liked, and I admit this in some shame, to "Hide" behind a Strong and Stoic, often Military, Fictional Character, a "Mask" Basically. The Episode is "Pingu's Dream" and, yes, it is Properly Banned, it was Officially Banned in 2003 (13 Years after Original Airing in 1990, but "Unofficially Banned" since 1991) and is not on any DVD Releases, as the Episode has now been classed "RC" (Refused Classification) making it Illegal to be Broadcast or placed on DVD. Something to remember for the next Act. I used to love Tugs, shame it only lasted 13 Episodes due to the broken Water Tank at Shepperton. They *need* to do a DVD Re-Release! Thankfully, as I was used to massive Explosions and Inferno Scenes from Thunderbirds, the "Ammunition" Episode never bothered me. It is Confirmed in the Shows Lore that, Yes, Captain Zero and the Z-Stacks work for the Mafia, something else to Remember for your next Act. Nope, all Episodes were Directed by David Mitton, who had worked for Gerry Anderson back in the 1960's and had a lot of Experience at making Massive Explosion Scenes from Thunderbirds (Remember, "Toby and the Flood" in Thomas is a massive Shoutout to that Series!) Bay tends to use CG (Boo!) for his Explosions, Mitton did them for Real! Models, Plastic Explosive, Kerosene, Magnesium, and a Camera Cranked up to 300 Frames Per Second to create an ever so slight "Slow Motion" Effect when the Footage was Played back at only 24 Frames Per Second. Bluenose, (Known, with Venomous Sarcasm, as "Ducky" by Hercules, as it used to Infuriate Bluenose to no end!) a Blustering and Incompetent Navy Tug, was the one who smashed the TNT Crate into the Harbour Wall. It should be noted that Lore Confirms Bluenose was left a Gibbering Wreck (he went stark raving mad!!) as a Result of that night and was Decommissioned and Scrapped. I am glad they were very Supportive of you. I like the Old Music Hall Jokes, try and sneak some of those in. "Dad Said 'when I get better, will I be able to play the Piano?' the Doctor said: "certainly you will" so Dad Replied, "well, your a wonderful doctor, I could never Play one before!" (Boom Boom.) I still think RTD has missed a vital trick in not using Tennant's Return to Reset to the Doctors 11th Incarnation and make the Chris Chibnall era (which, as an Old School Whovian, who has Jon Pertwee (3), Tom Baker (4), and Sylvester McCoy (7) as his three favourite Doctors, I consider utterly awful!) non-canonical, Resetting to the 11th Doctor and making Chibnall non-canon would have been the right thing to do IMO. I just hope they Remember that the Meeps may look cute, but are so Utterly evil that even the *Daleks* are Terrified of them! they cannot tone them down! Beep must be so evil as to Scare a Dalek into Retreating ("in.fer.I.,or. Life. Form. De.Tec.Ted. Scan.ning. Life. Form. Iden.ti.fied. as..MEEP! RE.TREAT!. RE.TREAT! RE.TREAT. or be. Ex.Ter.Min.Ated! The "Extended Dr Who Universe" that "Star Beast", which starred the Fourth Doctor (as played by Tom Baker), is from, is "protected" by Legions of the most Protective, Bad Tempered, Perfect or Bust, "do not touch, Rolykin!" Whovians imaginable, so they cannot afford to mishandle it! we saw that with the rather bad Reaction when RTD butchered Jubilee (a Big Finish Audiodrama with Colin Baker (doctor 6) made for the 40th Anniversary) to make it into "Dalek" and removed all the utterly Ghoulish Elements that made "Jubilee" one of the Finest of all Dr Who Stories! the Extended fanbase were furious! so they need to handle "Star Beast" Correctly! Still, I am now looking at getting into the "Big Finish" Classic Dr Who Audiodramas (with Doctors 4 through to 8) myself, so, I won't be left Short :) maybe have a look Into them yourself? "Spare Parts" might be a good introduction (Peter Davidson (5th Doctor) and Nyssa), as that goes into the Creation of very First Cybermen on Mondas, the Story that Kit Peddler never got to write. Cosford has an Incredible Airshow. Yes, some of the Planes, such as the G3 and the Chipmunk were from World War 2. A Kit Plane! Yup, classic "Toga" Take off, Hold the Brakes, Run the Engine up to Full Power, Release the Brakes, Hurtle down the Runway, wait until the Controls go Light (Plane Lifts) then Gently but Firmly back on the Stick (not too steep or it will Stall!) to Climb.
