I have so many memories of this , I remember going on it and doing the matching game and always trying to get a match and sometimes getting it and then looking through n64 for any good games

yeah this current beta is still able to run on my Steam Deck, if the install C++ thing comes up just go through it (uninstall/install it) and it should start up there are sometimes quick hotfixes that are getting put out so if it's not working try restarting steam to get the game to update.

Yeah, I clicked through and hit uninstall and after that, the game started up. If it asks you again after you launch it again I think you just need to let it install or uninstall it should work

Man, I really like this track, but I feel like it’s being held back. It sounds a bit too “soft” if that makes sense. Some of the instruments don’t have enough “crunch” or aggressiveness.

For me, it worked without me having to do anything other than launching the game. Maybe launch the game through proton experimental or ge proton. I dont know the reason its asking you that, but maybe you haven't installed a game that required you to have a c++ library to work yet. (I've installed a lot of games that required that, and I don't really remember if I had to do something manually or the game itself went ahead and installed the necessary files)

I unfortunately didn't try online on the Steam Deck this time around. When it's at 1080p, it dips a lot and is usually in the 40-50s. But at the Steam Decks native resolution, it remains closer to 60fps (it dips but not to something like 40).

Look at games like Guilty Gear or Virtua Fighter, with mechanics so complex no casual-to-highly competent player will never fully master -- and yet, they will still fully enjoy the games. Other games like Mario Kart have more tracks than most casual players will ever need, and yet, they are there for anyone to enjoy. Kids (which the game is primarily aimed at) will not say no to the abundance, despite many being so young they can never memorize all tracks properly. There are even fan projects like Beyond All Reason (which, like _Robotnik's Ring Racers_ also aims at growing in time), that feature so many strategic mechanics, that gamers are finding new ways to do new stuff with them each and every week.

You are better off playing normal from the start if you plan to unlock stuff. I switched to normal for the bottom row cups and it was pretty challenging for me.

The short sad music bit at 0:45 always gets me. It's like the music's saying: "Yeah, we know that this is the last theme for this place...", before quickly springing back into its previous happy tune, showing that even if this is the end, we're not gonna stop having fun any time soon! Wow, I haven't used my Wii U since 2022 so I didn't know the eShop was going to close until my friend on Discord told me about it closing in March of 2023 and apparently servers shutting down completely April, 4, 2024 Which is under a month from now, I love this eShop music so much so so so so much I love the Wii U eShop and I will never forget it. :(

One of the most disturbed experiences I’ve had playing a Zelda game because while majoras mask is very distinctly dark it still had a lightheartedness/light at the end of the tunnel- This game almost exclusively provokes a sorrowful dark feeling I’ve never seen replicated.
