Is there a full version? Because this is amazing, the sounds that come out of that guitar definitely match Terry's emotional lyrics.

I have a made in Mexico and a made in America neck from fender. But my dad said he tried to upgrade a squire. It was a bullet or affinity. And he said they weren’t compatible with that body. Is that the case on all squires? Or was it just that specific squire

On the other hand, if the 2061x is an amp someone wants to always have, you can actually modify it for a True PPIMV, which would correctly tame the volume of the entirety of the amp and not just the preamp section.

I have the SV20 as I love the plexi sound but a 2061x has come up for sale which I was eyeing but wanted to know sound wise are they similar? Will the SV20 be enough to cover the 2061x?

I have one of these that I’ve had for a few years now and I love how it plays and the build quality but I hate those black top filtertrons. I adjusted and did everything I possibly could to get a good tone out of them and never could. So I recently replaced the pickups with a set of Gabojo dearmond style pickups in a filtertron housing which drop right in and fit perfectly with the stock mounting rings. Now I can’t put this guitar down it sounds great with dirt or clean and sounds the way a Gretsch should. These are great guitars and would be perfect if they came with better pickups and the right kind of Bigsby.

I had a zoom camera recorder with 2 XLR inputs, 4k camera and a nice screen with lots of options and an EQ. Very good ideas but the recorder was absolute RUBBISH! I tried to record high gain guitar with SM57 mics and it just clipped, recording terrible audio. And as you mentioned the support at Zoom SUCKED. I returned it after 45 days of trying everything! Great idea but poorly executed. Had that video audio device had the same recorder this did I would have kept it. So hoping this recorder does the trick. It’ll be paired with my GoPro because that camera is excellent. It just lacks good audio recording capabilities

@@GS-uk3ml Read the manual, page 39, it's possible. Whether it will actually suit your needs, I can't say, that's why I said, "in theory." So the short answer is yes. The longer answer may depend on what you really intend to do, so check the manual

I have one of these guitars too and have owned it for several years but have had a love hate relationship with it. I love the guitar itself build quality and the playability after sorting out the tuning issues but I still don’t like the black top pickups. I’ve adjusted and messed with these things more than I care to mention and can never seem to get them to sound right especially the bridge pickup which sounds brittle and thin to me. I may try upgrading the master volume pot and pickup selector switch like you did. It seems like yours has plenty of output and sounds good. Thanks for sharing!

Always that whining about plastic. I have 4 different recorders made of plastic... none of them broke. Unless you want to put a tent in the ground with it. Plastic also doesn't rust and it is lighter. I do have the Zoom H8 that comes in its original plastic case. I took it out after a long time and it looked like it had fallen into a jar of honey. The soft skin exterior was dirty, sticky and tacky. I filed a complaint with Zoom because the device has only been used 5 times. But they don't respond. But the Tascam is no problem.
@vincent_van_nunu
@vincent_van_nunu 3 ай бұрын
The Tascam is aging pretty well too considering the new Zoom "essential" line of 32-bit recorders apparently missed the mark based on reviews I've seen. And yes I still have the Tascam and haven't broken it, yet.
@Robterdammer
@Robterdammer 3 ай бұрын
@@vincent_van_nunu I hear that the pre-amp of Tascam is better than the pre-amp of the Zoom. So Tascam is the better choice.

When I use the ZoomH2n I hang it on a very weak elastic otherwise it is impossible. You should also not put a headphone wire in it because every movement is a drum solo. Disaster thing.

It’s funny how we all started sucking at playing but wanted high end USA strats and now we are decent players and just know how to setup cheap guitars and change simple things. Like squires are cool too. Then maybe get an EQ pedal and dial in the pickups if you don’t want to change them.

Few things that are wrong about the explanation that needs clear up....this doesn't have a analogue delay. The entire circuit is based around a pt2399 digital delay chip that is being completely abused, creating fuzz, delays and modulations.

How do you know the spacing of your squier when buying saddle?
@brentharms694
@brentharms694 5 ай бұрын
Most squiers have a string spacing of 10.5mm at the bridge. An easy way to confirm this would be to measure the distance between the centers of your outer strings. If that spacing is appx. 2-1/16" you know the string spacing is 10.5mm
