@TheRasasayange.... We weren't here because of the V.O.C. , we weren't fortune seekers nor where we refugees. The 55/60.000 communitymembers are mostly descendants of the 12.500 K.N.I.L. (elite)soldiers that arrived here in 1951(military order) after the KNIL got disbanded.

@istimewa1x : Maluku is a name of an island in East Indonesia. In Indonesia it self Maluku/Moluccan people more known as the Ambon people (maybe you're knowing them as an ambonesse/amboina). And why there's be a Maluku community in Netherlands? (or i can say Belanda). The story begins when the V.O.C do an invation to Indonesia hundreds of years ago..

@Fontothitam; He's of Maluku origin just like Tahamata is, NOT Indonesian! It's like confusing an Irishman/Scottsman with an Englishmen. The reason why there 's a Maluku community(living in enclaves) in The Netherlands is a rather painful circumstance that the Dutch Government would rather forget. Maluku people didn't flee from Maluku to Holland out of poverty!

@expedition16 stoere jongen ben jij zeg:O echt niet normaal gewoon. m'n moeder kan niet op de vlag van feyenoord schijten tenzij ze eerts een houte kist openmaakt zichzelf ongeveer 3 meter omhoog graaft en dan nog ergens een vlag van feyenoord weet te vinden dus dat gaat um niet worden;)
