I have problems with this video - at 9:02, you're holding the 96-97 shirts, which weren't as good as 95-96, which were far superior. The 95-96 shirts followed the same pattern as the 94-95 kit, apart from the sponsor change from Danone to Sony. The Danone 94-95 is so special to me, because it was my first year after seeing Baggio at USA 94, and adopting Juve as MY TEAM. I didn't know anything about football, and I didn't get to see much Baggio that year, but I saw Ravanelli throwing his shirt over his head, the CAPTAIN Vialli, the birth of Del Piero, Ferrara at the back, Di Livio, Torricelli, Conte, Deschamps, Paulo Sousa, Peruzzi, Lippi, Jarni, Marocchi, Carrera, Tacchinardi, Kohler... That 95-96 shirt, with the new big SONY sponsor, and the Scudetto & Coppa Italia badges was m'f'king epic, and we won the European Cup. 96-97 - which are the shirts that you hold at 9:02 pose a difficult year for me. The forward line was revamped, the squad was reJuvenated, with Vialli & Ravanelli & Sousa leaving, a tough league slog that we battled through to win, but losing the European Cup, with Del Piero missing from much of the season, as he played for Juve, Italy, Italy U21s and the Italian army... The start of 97-98, seeing the new kit, with its wide collar, and net sides, the curved arch of black on white on the sleeves and back... I hated that kit, but as I saw that new Juve, that new style, that awesome team... The 97-98 kit, leading to the third consecutive European Cup final, and Del Piero equalling and surpassing anything Ronaldo could do... And with totally unique kits to anyone in Europe... 97-98 is the KIT. I wish the stars on the shoulders of the away kit were still yellow like in 95-96. rather than the blue (outlined in white) of 96-97... But the black and white of 97-98, and the pink centenary shirt... Those were the best, best shirts Juve have ever worn. I still have my shirts from that year, when I was 16-17, they still fit, and I wear them with immense pride. Also... 98-99, Juve didn't have the Kappa strip down the sleeve, it was a plain black and white, but we wore red numbers on our backs - a throwback to days when John Charles and Omar Sivori lead the line. The Kappa sleeve strip is from 99-2000, when we lost the league title on the final day of the season, away to Perugia in heavy rain - to my mind the only game where Pierluigi Collina made a bad call. We couldn't play that day because the ball wouldn't move in the puddles - and sure evidence that Juventus weren't bribing refs!

4:31 The story that I've always heard as a Juve fan for 30 years, is that Juve always wore pink. But Juve saw what Notts Forest were successful in England, and sent a rep over to buy shirts from the club, so we could have red shirts. He went to the wrong Nottingham club, and we've been Bianconeri ever since... Maybe a club myth... 5:00 That "30 Sul Campo" is a big F'Off to the titles we were stripped of - it means "30 Titles on the Pitch", meaning we earned them through hard fair play. Oh and 6:52 ... Ronaldo... Yeah he scored goals, but he ripped the heart out of a club built on squad ethics and a team never being more that one player. Ronaldo was a spent force, and a real mistake for the club. All Juve's successes whilst I've been a fan have been from a team working together, rather than servicing a Star. That was the board's hubris, and we're still recovering. Not Juve's GOAT, Juve's GMOAT - Juve's Greatest Mistake Of All Time. A couple of years previously, our shirt with the buttoned grandad-collar shirt, with the badges for Scudetto & Coppa Italia wins... Ooooh but that's a big one for me... And Giovinco in the yellow with blue trim...!

I'm loving your videos. And Baggio was the guy that got me into football - USA 94, at 13 years old, with absolutely no passion for football at all. Seriously, I hated football. But he lit up that World Cup, mesmerised me with his magic feet, and I've been an avid Italian football fan since, following Juventus through ups and downs ever since. At Fiorentina, Baggio suffered such bad injuries, that his playing days were forever hampered with pain in his bad knee. Essentially, he played the major part of his career with only one leg at 100%, and it's so tragic to think that he's only a sideshow to many people who crazy bray about "GOATs" these days. Italy had already missed penalties through - if I remember - Massaro & Baresi, and even if Baggio had scored, Brazil still had a penalty to take before it went to sudden death... So, Baggio didn't lose the world cup, but it hammered a final nail into the coffin. If Pagliuca had made a save for Italy in the final penalty kick, it might have given Italy a final chance. That penalty miss haunted Baggio for the rest of his career, and it still does, going by the last interview that I watched. I personally can't watch that last kick - I always close my eyes as he takes his run up, and when I open them, I see him on his knees, and my eyes are as full of tears as his were, 30 years ago. In an era when forwards weren't protected from defenders, when the number 10 was still a thing... A humble thinking man - no prima donna - who worked hard, played fair, and will always be inspirational to fans of Italian football. Tragically, the pain in his knee, that he suffered very early in his career, has meant that when he left Brescia, he totally hung up his boots. In a recent(ish) interview with his daughter, she expressed his gratitude, on his behalf, for his life in football, but since his retirement, he's never kicked a football since. Not even kickabouts in the garden - his knee was just too shot. His entire success was with a knee that caused him such pain, and he was always worried about it giving out. That's through his successes with Fiorentina, Juventus, Milan, Bologna, Inter, Brescia, and all of that time with Italy. A man that achieved so much, in incredible pain, with only one knee. One of the absolute greatest footballers of all time. There's no player like Baggio. For me, the best of his generation. Grazie Roby. Il Divin Codino.

i agree with all the kits mentioned in the video, and i would add some like the 2nd of the 23/24 season its for me one of the most stylish football kits ever, then the home kit 17/18 i think this kit could also be considered as the idealistic juve kit, and the 2nd and the 3rd kits lf the 03/04 season are majestic too

The sash on Forward Madison's kit is a nod to the city flag of Madison. Also, the reason Forward Madison has the flamingo is a nod to an infamous 1979 prank on the campus of the University of Wisconsin in Madison. On the first day of class, someone had covered Bascom Hill in over a thousand plastic yard flamingos. One of the perpetrators of this prank would later go on to be one of the co-creators of the cult TV show Mystery Science Theater 3000.
