It is a great game! It was only just recently released and it has some work to do. The reason for the low player count is the developers are getting the game in a great spot before starting their advertising campaign. They will probably do some heavy advertising in the near future so we will see player count jump up. I believe they are making the right decision by waiting and perfecting their game.

Level Zero: Extraction is a PvPvE extraction shooter where you go up against enemy players/teams and try to survive against Alien monsters that are also player controlled. The game was just released a little over a month ago for Early Access. Honestly has a lot of potential so we will see where it goes.

Correct! This game mode features PvPvE. Players control their own AI squads on the battlefield with them. Similar to the squad mechanics on the game Ghost Recon Wildlands.
