I was on the ice with Gordie Howe & Red Wings legends when I was 7 yrs old. Gordie took me into boards, gave me his favorite elbow & the Gordie wink. I am 78 now & rember that moment as clear as day. Mr. Hockey, alot of class.

I was on the ice with Gordie Howe & all the Red wing legends in 1952 Wing practice. He taught us how to hold stick & shot. He took me on the boards & got the famous Howe elbow & he said this is how us big boys play. I was 7 when this happened. Red Wing fan forever. RIP all the legends
