Great build yall even tho this vid is now 7 years old. I'm 17 and recently acquired a 99 mirage similar to yours and am having a lot of issues with finding aftermarket support for it. Where did you find all the oem stuff and bodykits? Would love yalls help.

VIS Racing has a nice body kit, $1700 for everything except for the hood and wing! And check out legion elite motorsports on KZbin, he makes custom aftermarket support for the mirage! Also good luck on your build.

I got a 1997 Lancer for my first car a few days ago and I’ve already got plans to put an Evo body kit on, new aftermarket seats, new steering wheel and rims too and it would look really cool, it would be pretty cool to have an Evo look a like at 16

You should put a turbo in it or a 4G63T so you don’t get bullied for being a ricer, no hate from me I think that would look sick asf but a lot of people would get salty

@@comm04bangr98 yeah, there’s still a lot that would be need done to it but even with just the rims I hav won it now look really good. I don’t have the money for a 4G63T yet. I’ll buy a cup car before putting mods on the Lancer which I’ll probably buy one some time this year

I know this is a bit old, I'm looking to do a 90s mountain pass type build. If I bought a 98-00 mirage could i just buy evo 5 fenders, bumpers and hood and everything will bolt right up? I have no clue, I'd like to know before I buy a mirage and realise I have to have do custom fabrications. Thanks.

I seen a car like this in a Walmart parking lot a while ago. What gave it away was the rear was still that of a mirage otherwise it would have had me fooled.

what year mirage? I have a 99 DE single cam and want to build it up some. would love to do a evo conversion and get rid of the 92 horse 1.5 liter for something a bit more peppier, and its gotta have a manual gearbox. the slush box automatic just aint cutting it for me. 0-60 time is about 14 seconds for me, I

bob smiths this is a 1999 mirage DE 1.5L conversion.The Gsx/Talon engines are more evo 1-2-3 .so the 4 generation 1992-1995 mirage/dodge colt is for that . If you have a 5g 1996-2001 mirage, the ideal swap is from an evo 4-9 4g63T.
