I’m not participating in any swaps or challenges! I love KZbin and my time it takes to create content is a lot ! Also John’s surgery has taken up a lot of my time and he’s having cataracts next week 1 hr away 7 am ! Not a morning person !! 😵‍💫 And believe it or not I was taken out of 2 groups for not participating 😢But it’s fine I have to take care of us , house and my joy truly is creating on KZbin ! Weird cause I never thought I’d be able to do it 1 and 2 come up with inspiration content ! But here I am at it again 🌸💕💜💜💜💜And I adore my “KZbin friends xx

😂 💜💜💜💜💜Thank you so very much for the shout out!! The fabric is reproduction Feed sack ! Indeed the original would be fab but easier to cut up eh ? The aprons just seemed dingy to me like not white ! But please, PLEASE cut them up for all your projects!! I am so sorry it took me so long but I honestly had such a great time searching through my “ junk” to see what I could find that was 50’s ish ! Use what you can for your 50’s journal and use the rest for other fun stuff!! Pattern paper is fun to use in making ruffles!! Backing things etc. I just love you sweet friend ! More to come when I feel better ! I do believe I’ve hit my limit on waiting to have my neck repaired ! Can hardly hold my phone !! But things to do so short videos here and there ! If my dang internet connection doesn’t go down again !! 3 days was crazy and it’s now taking 2 hours or more to upload 😢 They are building a multi million dollar housing community a 1/2 mile away driving all of the poor wild life out ! I had 2 deer in my backyard last 2 evenings !! They love roses ! I e not re planted mine since loosing them to Helene 🌀 but my neighbors are going nuts cause they have 😮! Oh me !! I love finding vintage apron patterns. The ones I’ve found aren’t in good shape but that one is! I’m sure you’ll do something cute with it. Excited to follow along and see how this turns out! Not sure what I’d put on the belt area… not sure what tiny items you have? Mini bling?

Might be a good way to preserve some of the ancient documents we have.

Nice! Hope Rob is on the mend, prayers for complete restoration. I am finding that when I don’t like the results of something I have made it is a matter of layering so I try to fiddle with it more before committing. These are sweet, the jewel pieces really set them apart. 💕

Beautiful finds Peg! I went to a thrift and found a bunch of vintage crafty magazines for fifty cents a pc so I scored too! The oldest one was 1946/1947 knitting magazine with the coolest pictures 🥰

Hi there! I hope you feel better soon! I use a lot of vintage clothing patterns and old papers in my journals. I found out that the pattern envelopes are really fragile so I copy them on lighter weight cardstock. They hold up to fussy cutting and you can use them for tuck spots and pockets. I also used to freak out when having to make a decision on cutting beautiful vintage images. If you cut it wrong on the copy, just print it off again. Also you can copy your father's music and keep the original safe.
