I like him as a drummer. Love the original song. Haven’t heard this version. Definitely haven’t heard him playing to it. Don’t care for what is going on. He’s kind of all over the place. Listen to the original. How many different drum sounds are going on? The levels don’t seem like they’re mixed right. What he’s doing is sitting on top of everything else. It doesn’t feel like it’s a part of what is playing. He is outstanding a metal drumming … I think … I don’t know. I can’t stand metal music. He’s very good with drum and bass bits! For sure. He tends to put metal double kicks in it for no good reason (which distances itself from the breakbeat foundation of drum and bass music). This … feels amateur. He’s dope. He’s a pro. THIS felt discordant.

❤️❤️❤️❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ I love this drum solo. When he plays a pedal ostinato, he kick and hi-hat sounds make me want to say "tuh" (like "tough") on the beats where he plays both pedals simultaneously.

Whoever mic’ed and mixed those drums needs help. You can’t even hear the floor Tom and as a result it makes his fills sound sloppy when they’re perfect. No way it was Chris, he would not accept that.
