That’s the trail rating according to the trail network but to be honest it’s probably not a black in most places. It’d be a blue in NZ compared to some of the trails I’ve ridden there. There are a couple of technical features that the footage doesn’t really do justice to but for the area it’s relatively technical. Brisbane just seems to over rate the trails for some reason.

@@brakeswideopen5562 Thats what I thought, I am moving to Brisbane soon and thinking about getting the meta am, how does it climb? I want a bike that can climb pretty well.

@@b4bnik it climbs ok, it’s no light weight bike and it is a long travel bike so doesn’t climb like a goat but for it’s class it climbs good. You sacrifice climbing for descending always, if you aren’t racing or planning on hitting DH trails or decent technical trails then you may be better getting a shorter travel trail bike.

@@b4bnik I race enduro with it and its a great bike, that's what its made for after all. goes up good enough and plows down without a worry

Haha yeah guilty on that one, actually didn’t mean to take it but I did, was too busy thinking don’t take that line then ducked in 🤦‍♂️wasn’t any faster anyhow, my next run on that stage was faster and it was without the French line. Gotta catch up for a ride when lockdown finishes mate 👊🏻

The tracks should be the same for that round except there will not be the short track. Only 5 stages

@@brakeswideopen5562 Thankyou, just one more thing... Not that you'd know but the track where you cased that drop, will the u15's be racing that one?

@@saltybarramundi4576 hey mate, if you mean maverick then yes I believe they will. That drop is just a drop to flat so no matter what you land hard there's no lander at all. There is a B line for it though and if you go slower over it the transition is smoother as well I think. The course looks pretty mellow for the next round out at Kooralbyn and you can do as many runs of each track as you like. Have a go mate, you should be fine

Hey Rej, awesome yeah I remember. Glad to meet you out there mate, cheers for the feedback! How’d you go on the day mate? Any day on a bike is a good day mate, sometimes I find I take one funny line on a race that I wouldn’t normally take and it ends in a laugh!

@@brakeswideopen5562 I had a very similar stack from an outer line into a washed out section on ironman on the Sat, but I think so many others did that eventually someone moved a rock and fixed it before the race. I actually placed 3rd in the lower "sports" category so quite happy with that. This was my first crack at an enduro and what a cool experience: Great weekend out camping, riding with mates, and meeting friendly riders like you. See you at Joyce hopefully.
