That's a great story but seems irresponsible of Phoenix Children's Hospital to capitalize on this positive story as their own advertising. It's bypassing the horrors of severe post drowning incidents and the lifetimes of suffering experienced by those victims. This definitely does NOT help to spread any realities of the necessities of prevention and increasing awareness of the extreme dangers of children around bodies of water. I worked with many kids in skilled nursing at a state hospital who never made it out of a vegetative state. But that's advertising for you ...

Don’t try to be normal. Like what. It’s fine he’s disabled So frustrating. I dislike parents of disabled parents. They seriously need to change the entire outlook. Disability isn’t bad. I have severe spastic quadriplegia and ataxic cp. Disability isn’t anything bad. It’s very very rude how parents react to their own disabled children.

A few days ago i had a heat related problem from being outside in very hot weather i was vomiting and felt dizzy it was 4 days ago i feel fine now however im not sure if it was heat stroke or exhaustion and if it was heat stroke wont i have damaged cells how can i tell which one it was??

When I was doing HPV with my school I saw a 9-11 year old kid who was a member of another team seemingly suffering from heat exhaustion after finishing their rotation in the vehicle racing around the track and he was in the first aid tent next to our pit station where staff were trying to cool him with water and ice. Eventually it progressed to heatstroke and he had to then be put on a stretcher and taken to a nearby hospital in an ambulance however he would of most likely survived the ordeal and made a full recovery thanks to the quick response of officials and paramedics at the race. It was also a very hot day with a maximum temperature of 38C.

I have a story to tell. It’s about me. I was born 4 months early and at 1 foot long. Because of this, I went through 17 surgeries at a young age and stayed in the NICU for 195 days in 3 different hospitals. I was legit on the fence, leaning to death.
