the game is cool, i feel like you should roll the die for who has the ball and what they're doing first instead of whether the shot goes in or not. if you tell me what happened before i even have context it removes curiosity

I see your video eventually indicates my idea for PDFs. My own preference is for cheaper, thinner-paper cards, with mostly black and white instructions, to save costs. I look more for lots of information and details in a game, over colors and attractiveness. That being said, your game looks really high-class.

$15 per team with 30 teams will cost your customers $450 per season. You may have to print just 18 players per team as paper cards and 18 more as PDFs.

How do you roll 1000, roll 3 0's? Seems since 0's are viewed as 0's and not 10, then the range would be 000-999 or am I looking at it weird? Nevertheless I really like your game and will be getting a season. Thank you for your work in tabletop sports sim.

I noticed at the beginning of the video when it came to determing which fielder the GB is hit to ,do all hitters results get read off the same chart? Some hitters(especially leftys) will hit to the right side of the infield more and some hitters(especially rightys )will hit to the left side of the infield more.

Miami went 1-15 that year. They won their only game in OT, so they came damn close.

Hi Brian, I love the drive-by-drive engine and the mechanics behind it. Two things I would consider adding to the dice version (not sure if they would be possible for the simulator app). i) It would be great if TDs wouldn't be 7 pts. automatically. If, in a given season the conversion rate was say 93% then I would do one more dice roll after each TD to see if the PAT was good. In my example, a roll from 94-100 would be a missed PAT. ii) I know Safeties are a real exception but it would be cool to have at least the remote possibility of a safety occurring. Thus, perhaps a natural roll of 100 (without the modifiers) or a natural roll of 01 would be a safety. Finally, similar to point i) on a final drive if a team trails by 8 it should have the chance of a 2-pt. conversion which could work similar to the regular PAT (i.e. based on the stats and success % in the given season).

1986 a great season

Oh they've played each other 3 times in 1986 out of 12 games (Clark, Bonds) Myself I prefer PDF. I print my own and I have about 30,000 sleeves I can use.

Is the 2003 season set available for purchase? Have the 2023 set and really enjoy the game.

A constructive suggestion: For consistency, would you consider making the font size larger on some of your charts/tables? I think you could do this without the possible negative effect of adding more pages. It seems like the font is fine on many documents, but it's much smaller in the instructions you showed (@ 9:50 and 12:10) and the chart you showed at 35:30, as well as some fields on the Ground Ball Chart (@ 31:20). I do like the amount of detail you've put into this game and the price is very cheap. As a full-season replayer, the ability to have cards for every player is important to me. I understand why printed versions of games omit players for cost purposes. Since this is a .pdf game, it may be easier to have every player. It sounds like most are included now, but perhaps not all. For me personally, I would pay a few more dollars to get every player available, or even have an option to purchase fringe players not included in the base set. Good luck to you; it's evident that you have put a lot of thought and consideration into this game. I already have 2003 and 2023 sets in other games, but I will keep an eye out as you continue to add more seasons in between.
