Tony was a terrible boss too. Tony capitulated to New York when he should have stood firm (not doing their wackings for them), and standing firm and reacting violently instead of compromising (last conflict with New York). Not to mention killing his captains (except for Richie)

The adults and system failed these boys. Really none of them wanted the corners but they was forced into or grew into it. Randy reminds me of me at age 14 bullied and picked on yet quiet and smart. Crazy thing is I had good friends even the bully in the group was nice to people half the time. But slowly the ghetto puts obstacles that toughen you up Randy had no choice but to be tougher in that group home. Sad thing is it's either the streets or jail when he hits 18.

Lauren( it wasn't really useless either but I definitely agree with you they should have never had her faked her death and work with the feds 4. I definitely agree with you on Lorenzo as well they built his character up to be a scary street dude and when he got out of jail he wasnt none that
