I took google project management job training. Then penn state foundation of positive psychology & resilience. Got a servsafe foodsanition manager in 2020. I believe i openly & freely pursued each. Im a real person that thinks a sock puppet is like a freemason. But sock puppets are to me a open source investigator tool in Social engineering knowledge. I barely understood the terms but think about them Especially DMAIC: Define Measure analyze improve control . HTGS hunt the good stuff BLAST: believe listen appogize satisfy thank. I genuinely believe sock puppets are all woven from the same fabric. Its ethics used to weave sockpuppets into society that are my concern. With that being said . Talk less ask why more.

It's not exactly true that you aren't getting charged when AWS instances as in the stopped state, you are just getting charged significantly less. Cool content, hope you haven't give up on this!

Got interested in hacking recently. It’s so funny that my roadmap right now is getting my A+, then getting a CCNA in the spring with classes, and also wanting to learn Linux, and Azure after. This is basically everything I’ve planned out as my roadmap. Just lines right up with all my interests so it goes to show I’m on the right path. Great video.

Excellent, but definitely make sure that you learn one programming language, mostly Python, and the various concepts that exist in programming. It will definitely be a huge help.

@salvadorcorreia-r2d I started when I was 37 I'm 39 now but still have a lot to learn, the guy that got me into it didn't start until he was in his mid 40's he is 57 now and has been working cyber security for over a decade, Its never too late to start, In fact most people in cyber security don't start learning until much much later in life.

I’ve been working on Sec+ for years now, but my unit doesn’t have the time to send any 25Us to the schoolhouse for the certification. My plan was Sec+, Net+, Google cybersecurity cert, IBM project management (to let my mind rest a bit), CySA+, CEH v12 (the current CEH). Currently I have, the Google, IBM, and have already been enrolled into CYsA and CEH. Holy cow do I regret not hitting Net+, so I may go out of pocket for Net+ before even finishing CEH or CYsA+ Ive been using a version of red hat Linux for a while now, I like Linux a bit, but I also like windows 😭

I’m nearly 50% complete in BS Cybersecurity. Have A+, Security+, Network+ & a solid resume showing my promotions and several years of management level experience. And still can’t even get a help desk position. I’ve had 3 interviews out of 200 applications.. the last one was yesterday and I met the IT director who had no certs or formal education and neither did anyone else who worked there. I just don’t get it … I’m seriously looking into just dropping this path and doing something completely different outside of IT.
@theinfosecacademy5 ай бұрын
Sorry to hear that. How much experience do you have? Are you highlighting that on your resume? Also, one thing that I did during interviews is that I always asked the last question myself "What can I do to improve myself" I got a lot of practical improvements from their answers to me.

Your method is good for complete beginners with no IT background. However, i find it boring learning theory, so i get my hands on practical certs, and it's is so much fun.
