I wore one back in the 70's when they were in style, made those small 36 mm watches look a bit bigger- now men watches are up in the 40mm to 50mm range and now that I am older, dang, I wear a clock on my wrist due to my eyesight. I recently purchase a Bund strap for a nice watch I like and it is getting much wrist time.... love them Bunds- they were popular with the Nazi's back then, now maybe they are making a come back.

I have a hot foil stamping machine,,, but can't find any old embossing ties to use with it. Also known as hot stamps. Especially ones that were used in advertising something not patterns or flowers. They are thicker bronze / brass blocks. I have yet, to try out my hot press

Thank you for the video! For hot foil stamping, can I laser cut a stamp/die out of silicone rubber? I make a lot of very short-run items and looking to quickly make my dies and merge that with hot foiling somehow. Silicone rubber can be laser cut/engraved and silicone rubber stamps have been used in hot foiling. Correct? Thank you!

If you have a Dremel tool you can just buy a $5 round 1/16" tip for engraving and just drill an elongated hole through the strap. I figured this out because I wanted to add spring bars to my stingray straps. I have a feeling this punch won't go through the calcium beads on the stingray leather. I ended up adding spring bars to all of my watches this way. I just stuck a toothpick through the strap to give it rigidity and so I wouldn't accidently go all the way through.
