for note taking purposes Introduction Exogenic processes are external phenomena that happen at or near the Earth's surface. They are responsible for transforming rocks into sediments. Exogenic processes can be categorized into degradation and aggradation. Weathering is a degradation process that involves the physical breakdown or chemical alteration of rocks. Mechanical Weathering Mechanical weathering, also known as disintegration, is the breaking up of rocks into smaller fragments without changing their mineral composition. There are three main types of mechanical weathering: Frost Wedging Frost wedging occurs in places where temperatures fluctuate above and below the freezing point. Water seeps into cracks in rocks and freezes, expanding and exerting outward force. This repeated freeze-thaw cycle can cause the rock to break apart. Thermal Stress Thermal stress is caused by the expansion and contraction of rocks due to temperature changes. The outer surface of a rock is usually warmer than the inner portion, leading to peeling away of outer layers. This process is called exfoliation. Pressure Release Pressure release, also known as unloading, occurs when overlying rocks or materials are eroded. This releases the pressure on the underlying rocks, causing them to expand and fracture. This process is called sheeting. Granite is an example of a rock that undergoes pressure release. Chemical Weathering Chemical weathering changes the rock through chemical changes. There are four main types of chemical weathering: Oxidation Oxidation involves the loss of electrons. Minerals with high iron content are susceptible to oxidation. When iron is oxidized, it turns reddish-brown and the rock becomes weak. This process is also known as rusting. Hydrolysis Hydrolysis involves the reaction of water with the chemical compounds of the rock. This process produces clay and soluble salts. For example, potassium feldspar reacts with water to form clay, quartz, and iron. Carbonation Carbonation involves the reaction of carbonic acid with rocks. Carbonic acid is formed when rainwater reacts with carbon dioxide. This weak acid can dissolve calcium carbonate, which is found in rocks like limestone. Biological Action Biological action involves the breakdown of rocks by living organisms. The remains of dead plants and animals can form organic acids that can cause chemical weathering. Conclusion Weathering is an important exogenic process that plays a crucial role in the rock cycle. It breaks down rocks into smaller fragments, which can then be transported and deposited as sediments. Weathering also contributes to the formation of soils and landforms.

My question, revolving around red shift, is a two part question. Once light is red shifted, would it not stay red shifted to the perceiver who encounters it, even if it was not being further shifted? If that is true, and I think it is, how do we not know we are seeing how fast space WAS expanding, as we look into the past and see ever older light? I am assuming the expansion of space (whatever "space" is that is expanding) requires some form of energy. And accelerating expansion must require an incredible logarithmically expanding area of ever greater volume of space, thus ever increasing energy just to maintain expansion. It would appear more logical that expansion would slow over time, and produce the appearance of ever greater red shift, the further one looks into the past. And, as far as I can tell, all the other means of measuring distance like parallax, and standard candles etc, measure distance not related to expansion or contraction. I am fairly certain this has been well explained somewhere, yet I cannot find an answer to my query. Thanks.

Geologists say that every earth layer is created in hundreds of thousands of years. The layer becomes nicely horizontal because it is grown by sedimentation under water and later the water level dropped or the ground level has risen. And that occurred hundreds of times. And so all layers have grown horizontal above the other horizontal layers. When we look at the many earth layers all over the world, it seems that we look at millions of years of history. Geologists created a relative time scale based on this idea and when we find fossils we date those fossils by looking in which layer the fossils are found. The problem is that the relative timescale is based on nothing more than an idea, thesis, theory from a few man in the 19th century. There is nothing that really proves this idea. Geologists know little about human history. But our planet suffers from a cycle of natural disasters that are caused by a celestial body. This cycle is mentioned in several ancient books but also Plato confirms this. These disasters are best known for a flood. The celestial body, a planet, circles our sun in an eccentric orbit. Once it approaches the sun it accelerates to a very high speed. When it crosses the ecliptic plane the gravitational force on the small planets like Mars, the Earth and Venus will be huge. This force pulls the water on our planet high up even above the highest mountains. That planet moves from south to north and the Earth keeps on turning so the tidal wave makes a spiral movement over our planet. "It wipes the valley as a broom does the floor" says one legend. After seven days the planet X or 9 disappears into the universe for a few thousand years. It leaves the planet Earth covered in a thick wet mud layer. This layer will harden over time and form the next horizontal layer on our planet. Because of this event many living beings die. We have several pictures from the approaching planet. There are eyewitness accounts from survivors about the tidal wave that is so high that the top is frozen and blinking. We have drawings from the orbit in different ways. We have a very well known warning for this event: the Aztec Sun Stone. And this planet 9 was seen just before our era and traces of the dust cloud were found in the ice layer of Greenland. In my e-book I show many pictures from all over the world. People recorded this because the crossing is the most dramatic event in the history of mankind because it will return. But when? We explain much more about planet 9, the recurring flood cycle and its timeline, the rebirth of civilizations and ancient high technology in the e-book: "Planet 9 = Nibiru". It shows abundant and convincing evidence both in text and many depictions. It can be read on any computer, tablet or smartphone. Search: planet 9 roest
