I played in that house when Mrs Harkness owned it. My aunt was a nanny in the summer and I was allowed to go with her and play with children. My magical childhood in beautiful Watch Hill.

I love Watch Hill. I nannied in the house that is now Taylor swift's back in the early to mid 1990's. The boys and I had a lot of fun playing hide and seek!

@@t4981 The house was HUGE. I wish I'd payed better attention to the details of the house. I was given "the blue room" to stay in. It looked out over the ocean with huge picture windows. I'd open the side widows at night so I could hear the ocean and lighthouse. The person who owned it before was an eclectic lady who ran a dance studio and housed many of the dancers in that house during her time.

By the way, you must be very lucky to work as a naming/babysitter back in the 1990s. The original home owners must be famous now and multimillionaire that I wonder what they do with their life and how did they became so rich to afford this kind of house. We know Taylor Swift is a very famous celebrity so that explains where her wealth and income comes from. But it would be a dream of mine to become rich and live in a big house like that!

@@doniabreu6766 Sounds so cool! I’m from MA and being super into interior architecture, I always heard about this house. Since about 2/3 of it was torn down, I often wondered what the inside would look like. Seems after TS moved in, most info was scrubbed from the web and understandably so since I’d imagine that could cause a security problem. But it’s still fascinating to read about :)

But it’s too expensive and when you pay a couple million dollars, you get a much smaller house size! That’s a little bit disappointing! It’s beautiful but very few of the homes are considered mansions!

Nice and early in the morning this i see as there is no traffic about, i do know this area i little as we have been down Outwood road then off to the right to some new houses, i also bought a vehicle from a chap on the Ringley/Kearsley road area.Your drone video has something that my drone video was sadly lacking, control! As i only had a small drone, can i ask can you see what you are filming or is it guess work? And i see you get about a bit with yours what with all those far off places how do you carry it? In a suitcase? Do you have trouble at customs? I am a bit jealous of folks that can fly these things as when i tried it took off and completely vanished for hours. That was an excellent bit of filming stirring up the seagulls and flying above them great stuff.

Thought i would look your channel up and i find you are here, now you may have noticed that the road a bit further back has all been resurfaced, colliers row or road from the cross roads from coal pit lane/scout road i think, yes we were up there too! The firm i work for took several thousands of tonnes of tarmac up there, just to make it smooth and pretty.
