We all have experiences. Even though this is a wonderful video, it makes me depressed. For me it's like my journey through life so far. Traveling alone solo even though having people around me.

Thanks for sharing, I"m not LDS either, but was stationed at Hill AFB with my parents there nearly 60 years ago. This brought back a lot of memories, especially seeing the Temple Square and Tabernacle areas. There were very few other larger buildings surrounding them back then.

My favorite areas in Cleveland to ride. Were you using the Pocket 3? How did you have it mounted?

I recognize many of the landmarks in this video, although many have changed hands and names since I was there in the early to mid 70's. It was still a relatively inexpensive place to live if you got in during the early sixties or late fifties, but by the 80's, like most of Marin Co. you needed to be making mid to high six figures at least to buy a home here. I'm sure it's even higher now. Only the uber rich buy and live in Tiburon in today's market. The time to get in was well over 55 years ago. It's over developed and full of rich snobs. Despite all the cars and people it's still a beautiful place to live if you're a robber baron or an heir to a million-dollar estate.

Nobody goes 35 on the Shoreway. People are used to 50 mph their whole life, and the cops are so understaffed they'll never control that street.
@PokoTraveler8 сағат бұрын
Haha, maybe. When the 55 bus was on that shoreway the other say, I took my phone out and was curious how fast we were going, and it did show 35 to 37 mph.

On a visit a couple years ago, I ran from the Cleveland script sign to Wendy Park and back to Lakewood to my Airbnb where I was staying. It’s beautiful even in the winter as seen in this video. The most picturesque place in Cleveland IMHO.

Love the Cleveland script signs. I also do a bit of venturing out myself, and funny enough it took me so long to finally find the Parma script sign. I'm like oh it's here on Ridge Rd and West Ridgewood Dr. I was laughing at myself about it because of how long it took me to find it. But other than that, whenever I'm free from work, I get what I can to venture out, and so far this year, my 2 favorite spots are Glenwillow OH,( near Solon) the downtown Euclid area and sims park, and the shoregate shopping center and lakefront lodge in willowick. Definitely had to take some pics.

We were there the same night (Dec 14) about 7PM. Enjoyed it, but traffic was really backed up on Euclid. With this & 6 or 7 shows going on at Playhouse Square the same time, downtown was really happening!

Ok Poko, I'm hooked on Cleveland thanks to my favorite Holiday Movie and your Christmas vids👍For a country so divided Cleveland we have more in common than we want to believe. Don't know your background but good blending visual with your narrative. Its great to see kids being kids. Old or feeling old is reality especially when you put on your coat and your father's hands come out. Good job to all the decorating crew for the Cleveland Christmas cards. Don't know if you caught this but it was crazy to me. When you filmed the Arcade restaurant,there seemed to be a lot of older people in there having dinner, looking out the windows with today's generation on other side of glass 👍🧑🎄💜

Just perfect the Snow Show. The feeling of jumping into the movie "A Christmas Story"💜🎄🧑🎄 Good job Cleveland, beautiful building. Happy Holidays 💜 Philadelphia...... Appreciate what you have now, things change and pass quickly.Thanks for this early Christmas gift for me. Sadly you can say it seems like dueling banjos; past and present sharing the same stage.

The Indians/Guardians have a rule that to qualify for a statue at Progressive Field a player has tobe a member of the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown NY. Rocky is not a member, but a group of fans got together and raised nearly $200,000 to have a statue of Rocky built and installed in Little Italy. The Cleveland Baseball Club donated significant funds to help make the project in honor a reality, as did private individuals ang busineses and corporations.

Use the RTA trains & find them convenient. That sign at the entrance of the RTA station is appropriate because one isn't suppose to go beyond that point unless with a train ticket.

I'm crying! I remember the magic of my mother taking me downtown at Christmas time! I am now 67; Halle's, Higbee's, May Company and their window displays! Eating at the counter at Woolworths! So glad downtown is offering memories to kids that will last a lifetime! Mr. Jingeling, Keeper of the keys! Thanks for this; what a wonderful walk down memory lane!

Good to know that they have scanners now for the transit app pass. Wonder if they installed them recently. The last I was inside tower city was back in July when I need to catch the green line train to take it all the way to Green Rd station, then the 94 bus towards east 260 and Lakeshore Blvd to visit some friends.
