Dude it's the materials the pads are made from is what you should be talking about. That's what is important to know with the rotors

Sandro, LOVE Galfer and your passion for motorsports! But how about some actual technical information. Larger rotors provide increased heat absorption AND heat dissipation. Larger rotors do NOT provide more braking power by themselves. How about letting an engineer help you do the videos? Kinetic energy to thermal energy...physics. Larger rotors will usually absorb/dissipate more heat before fading-, this is the main benefit. Yet nothing in the video explains this. Come on guys, you can do better! 🤔🙂👍

Oh man, please don't take this personally but your videos are extremely hard to watch. If you can't cough up you should probably see a doctor. Maybe find a replacement voice actor. I admire your knowledge but it is really hard to listen to your voice. Just my 2 cents if you want to succeed on YT I wish you the best!

What materials are each of these tiers using? Resin, metallic, ceramic?

Bought galfer wavy discs for my 2018 mt09 tracer,the yamaha ones failed mot only 10k,the galfers were no dearer and fitted them and made a noticeable improvement,I had to turn the adjustment down one turn better braking no doubt.

What are differences in rotating mass of the two Sandro. Also, what is the heat soak point of each rotor of the same diameters.

There are many things to consider such as how your bike is ridden, are the compounds appropriate for the needs of what you are putting on bike, and do you need more or less modulation than you have now?

This doesn’t make any sense. Every motorcycle caliper has pistons on both sides, the pressure inside the caliper will find its own equilibrium around a fixed rotor. This could only be useful if you only have one piston. Am I missing something?
@ashflame68883 ай бұрын
Yeah you are missing a million different things...... The main one being that "Every motorcycle caliper has pistons on both sides" That is 100000000% false. I have owned at LEAST 5 bikes with pistons only on one side.

WTF does "E-Bike Compound" mean?!? Is it Resin or Sintered, seems like Galfer wants to be intentionally vague on that subject...

It means they are recommended for eBIKES. Our BIKE pads are all semi-metallic. Less organics, more high quality metals. Galfer never intentionally want to be vague, it happens by accident. Have a good day.

Hey Jack, thanks for the comment and the recommendation. We agree that it is a good idea and recommend that you replace your rotor bolts when installing new rotors; however, if the original rotor bolts were not ever over torqued, then you shouldn’t experience any problems
