Hey SerpentIris, thank you for this amazing video!!! I have a question, are vocal harmonies an alternative to doubles in vocals like in the previous video, or do we have to add both doubles and harmonies at the same main vocal?
@serpentirismusic12 күн бұрын
Thank you, glad you're enjoying our content! It's up to you really but we often have doubles and harmonies (and even other background vocals) in sections we want fuller, such as the chorus. But don't be afraid to experiment and see what you yourself like!

Another great video guys 🔥! I think "See that?" drums and toplines are cool , but i'm not entirely into it. I feel it lacks energy for being a title track, my favorite part of the song is the bridge. My favorite track from the ep is red light sign, but we go.
@serpentirismusic13 күн бұрын
we did love the bridge too ☺️

i would love to learn more about song structuring like ABAC and which structure is common in which part of the track (Verse, Pre-Chorus, Chorus) and also if theres a connection e.g. A-Chorus ABAC works well with B-Chorus DEDE ...

We have a few videos that go in that direction, but we’ll certainly do more in the future! ☺️

This video is really good. Love the explanation and clear visualization
i enjoy jazz reharms of kpop songs but don’t know music theory, so your visualizations are very helpful to “see” some of what i’m hearing!

I do like "Zombie" I like all the musical embellishments, but It didn't wow me. "Colourz", second song on the Single, on the other hand I like way more. With sax in the chorus and way more upbeat melodies make it pop way harder. The third song "Back 2 Luv" is ok, but nothing too astonishing.

I think Aespa’s success is mainly due to their willingness to not follow trends which makes their sound feel timeless and unique. As a listener I never know what to except which keeps things exciting every comeback! 🌟🌟

Hey Serpentiris, A while back, I sent you an email about a question I had and a video suggestion on why second-generation K-pop sound so similar, basically asking what makes kpop so kpop. Just wondering if you had a chance to check it out. Would love to hear your thoughts! Thanks!
@serpentirismusic3 ай бұрын
Hey, thank you for your comment and your e-mail! We have addressed your question about what makes K-Pop sound like "K-Pop" in our special tutorial a few months ago, it's the one with the green thumbnail! We may make something on gen2 K-Pop in the future but our biggest focus right now is current trends. And trends rotate rather fast nowadays so it may be sooner than we expect, haha. This said, we are more than happy to have a more casual conversation on any of these topics in our Discord, so do join, it would be a great discussion! ☺️

The bridge reminded me of the part in moulin rouge by the ending when pink, mya, christina aguilera, and lil' kim did their runs and adlibs, and julie's rap reminded me of lil' kim's rap in that song as well.
