Imagine doing this walk in winter with a bunch of snow there. I had to do that for a while to get to a PACE bus route even though it was only a block it was miserable. I was not fresh snow and had partially melted and refroze so it was like walking on an uneven ice rink.

People in Oakland put obstacles to slow cars down in the nieghborhood but the city took them within the week because dumb drivers complain. Neighbors complain for like several years. It is 25 mph zone and cars are going at 40 to 50 mph even with kids playing. Worse people would host street races because how straight it is. I hate how car centric it is. Cars can kill easily. Drivers should be the one to look after predestrians not the other way around. If those obstacles are annoying than just slow down and go around. Driving requires a brain. They need to make driving test the same standard of Germany.

50 to 58mph in a 40 mph zone really isnt a big deal at all. cops dont even generally pull over for 15mph over the limit anymore. and oh yes, the poor youth who reckless endangered himself by riding a bicycle where there isnt room to safely do so. oh the humanity

When drivers think “it’s ok” to drive 15-20mph over the posted speed limit, they are creating a safety hazard that doesn’t exist when they obey the legal posted speed limit, so speeding cars are DENYING children and others their ENTITLEMENT to a SAFE Public Environment. That is why the speed limit actually matters, especially where people can be seen walking or biking - OR IS IT JUST NOT OK TO DO THAT ANYWHERE ANYMORE? Because people refuse to follow basic rules they agreed to follow when they signed the paper for their DL? See how stupid things have become? Actually, the mini van driver is the amA$$Hole & not the driver oulling onto the road. The mini van driver was driving way too fast to start & blew their horn for no real reason, & that's because the car pulling onto the road didn't cut off anyone f & made a legal left turn. #SMMFH! 🙄💯
