Yes it really is not advisable to use it unless you are in a well ventilated space. But I do not think the product is available now as the company we used to buy these products from has long since stopped trading.

Gosh this was filmed 10 years ago now, and the product has not been available for several years from the supplier/manufacturer we used, I heard they sold to an Indian based company - the UK owner became unwell, and the family sold it all off I think. Search Liquid Leaf and metallic gold paints, and you might find something similar, this supplier in London seems to have similar www.croberson.co.uk/product-sections/roberson-liquid-metal-paints.html HTH

@MrsPaperArtsy Жыл бұрын
Hi Salmo, these paints are UV safe, so for example you can paint things and leave them in direct sunlight and they will not fade, which is a pretty unusual apint feature for a craft grade product. So you are good to go! Enjoy!

I'm aware the world has moved on considerably since 2016 - was it really six years ago?! I'm thinking you could perhaps now do this with UV resin and flash cure it with a little LED torch, maybe? That does a semi-set in about 5 seconds. - enough while you spin it into shape and then curing it fully later. Keeping the same process as you've shown us in the video - the micas and wire and so on... Shame Ranger discontinued that natty little melting pot - I've found some chocolate meting pots for around £20, which I imagine would be similar... Also, you were spot-on the first time with *_dy-KRO-ik,_* btw. 😃 Thanks for this video - lovely work - and a new sub from me!
@MrsPaperArtsy
@MrsPaperArtsy 2 жыл бұрын
Oh yes, I am sure some kind of LED UV setting resin thing is possible, maybe using moulds, but woud be cool to try that with a torch too. And yes, there are other melting gizmos for wax that also can work, as long as the temperature gets hot enough. Lucky for me I have a class set of Melting pots, and they really are great for so many different techniques and media. THanks for your thoughts on this, and we need to get filming more and add some new content to the channel - with our move from the UK to France we have been distracted in getting all our manufacturing set up, and the filming space is the last thing on the still very long to-do list!

Where do you find this tissue paper
@MrsPaperArtsy
@MrsPaperArtsy 2 жыл бұрын
Hi Mary, our source simply stopped supply. We has no warning or we would have stocked up big time! You need to look for wet strength tissue paper. Canvas Corp in the USA made the most similar product, but I fear they are no longer trading. Good luck!

@MrsPaperArtsy
@MrsPaperArtsy 2 жыл бұрын
Hi Jane I am so sorry the supplier ceased to create it some years ago. What you need to search is wet strength tissue as it is a bit more robust. Often the firmer stuff that comes with shoes, not the soft stuff that would just disintegrate. I hope that helps. We were recomending Canvas corp tissue (12x12") which seemed the most similar, but I fear they also may have ceased trading - perhaps you will find a retailer still holding stock of that with a search online? Aplogies I can;t be of more help to you at this time.

No answers to any of the questions below. I’m trying to figure out other than all the color choices , which is nice. What makes these different from folk art chalk paint , deco art or Waverly chalk paints here in the US. The price for 150ml seems extremely high at right at $7 for a small bottle. I can get 8 ounce bottle of waverly for $7 and 2oz bottles for $1.67 and 30 colors to choose from the pigment load is high and the coverage is really really really good. I can thin these paints down and glaze with them, can do that with any acrylics. So can some tell me what makes these paints better are they artist quality paints are they lightfast.The reason I ask because I do like all the colors that are in the line granted it would cost a small fortune to by them all and . I just want to know what makes these paints worth the cost that’s being asked for a very small bottle and what is the difference from the good brands of chalk paint in the US.
