I've been thinking about this, car seats are super comfortable and might be cheaper than gaming seats. Just need to work out the platform to mount them on

3 main reason 1 cheap laminate floor (groove is only about 3mm thick) 2 most people opt for the cheap white underlay which if your floor is uneven will not support it properly 3 it was laid badly

Great tutorial Several questions What kind of glass do you use What tape/edging do you use Why do you iron it
@elliott45622 жыл бұрын
just ordinary glass /it's just iron on preglued edging used for edging kitchen and bedroom furniture the iron melts the glue

The microwave will be damaged by the microwave radiation since the salt cannot absorb heat. It will oxidize the salt. Solid blocks of salt are hard to break since the water will be lost.
@elliott45622 жыл бұрын
it absorbs heat it is very hot when it comes out of microwave it's easy to break up with a fork.. I've been doing this for 5 years and there is no damage to the microwave... in my opinion your are talking shit... cheers for your comment though...

Just watched your video. Wished I’d seen your video before our kitchen downlights were fitted. 16 downlights and 16 lots of draughts blowing into my kitchen. 😩. Whatever is done now would have to be from below the completed ceiling. Is that just normal kitchen foil you used with pva glue?

I must rewatch this it's that long ago I forget... see electricians usually don't care as long as light goes on... they're not paid to think really and don't care about insulation and draughts.....they'll not feel it in their house... I think that's what I did

what way do you attach your insulation between the ceiling joists,,cheers
@elliott45623 жыл бұрын
I just cut it very accurately and push it up i also fixed small slips of wood to the joists the same thickness as the thermal boards so they finish level and I can't push them up to far

Great work John Paul. I left my American style fridge freezer in my old home because there was an ordinary built in fridge freezer in the flat I now live in. Sadly I am now unable to use my dominant hand and am finding the freezer drawers very difficult to use. If I can find someone to make me shelves like yours would it work if I removed the drawers and laid them directly on the elements?

John Paul, my joiner is about to dry line the walls and ceilings. Should they be float plastered instead to ensure the wall feels solid and won't feel tinny and echoey? Thanks.
@elliott45624 жыл бұрын
If your using dry lining sheets with the taper at the joins there's no point in plastering the whole surface
@da_great_mogul4 жыл бұрын
@@elliott4562 they said they want to give it a double coat of skim on top as only in US do you pain on top. In Britain we always skim twice. What I'm asking is, is a wet float plaster better than any plasterboarding?
@elliott45624 жыл бұрын
Maybe they're not using dry lining sheets see there's two differ types of plasterboard one with the taper for the joint tape and one without the one without you have to plaster the whole wall or ceiling so it sounds like they are not dry lining they are just plastering
@da_great_mogul4 жыл бұрын
@@elliott4562 they are sticking 15mm boards to the wall and then skimming it over in 2 coats. I'd rather them just render it and plaster it so it feels solid. What are your thoughts?
