Thank you , this is the hardest chapter for me. Even after all this time, it still has a strong hold of my heart. It just shows how powerful GRRM's words are. It was definitely Littlefinger, impersonating Robert. Joffrey sends the Catspaw thinking he's doing something that would please his father. We see Littlefinger impersonate Robert in Ned's POV in the black cells. Mance, could have also been a part of the transaction. Robert had nothing to do with it, but Robert didn't do this.

George says he resolves it. Ultimately Joffrey definitely gave the dagger to someone to kill Bran. Whether the rest of us are right too will never be confirmed, likely.

Thistle is right. Joffrey, a sociopath thinks it is a mercy, given the idea, by Littlefinger, another sociopath. Think of the actual consequences and whose motives are actualized. It is Littlefinger's. It's at least arguable that Mance benefits by moving Ned away from the north. He wants the watch weakened, and Ned being far does help that. Ultimately, though Littlefinger has the motive. That is why you don't have an answer Richard!!!

I like the Theory of Ashara being Gyanna, but only sticking around for four years or so. You can't put baby in a corner. Just like Lynesse, she wouldn't stick around. I think she's Lemore after that. During the war, she is ALSO the Fisherman's daughter. the girl gets around.

Phew. Glad we confirmed there is magic... Otherwise my channel is way off. Obviously Richard is also right, in mentioning the furniture rules, but let's face it, telekinesis and telepathy, while also sci-fi tropes, are actually magic. It's magic, just with a facelift in sci-fi. In fantasy, magic is magic. I talk about this more in my "Kingsblood I" vid.

Yeah I wouldn't drink the water either. I watched a show about how people were infected by all sorts of parasites back in the day. They even had some type of worm that would leak from their eyes. No way I'm touching anything that wasn't fully cooked or purified by boiling.
