3 months ago, I started a research on the Canadian Fur Trade, and the role that the Voyagers played in the formation of modern Canada. I stumbled across this video and was immediately hooked on it. I have watched/listened to other (French speaking versions,) of this song but it doesn't have the same effect. I have watched this at least 100 times. It has now become a song that warms my heart and cheers my spirits up. Thank you so very much for sharing it.

Yes lol. I did write and sing a song about the Sprung Greenhouse during their cucumber days of growing. To tune of La Bamba. " some bright my son some brighr my son" " Sprung Cucumbers, Sprung Cumumber, Sprung Cumcumbers, SPRUNG!" LOL

It is a French traditional voyager folk song and has it in French here on KZbin. This is just a close English interpretation. No harm intended.

Spoiled by the guitar drowning out the accordion. An accordion has a lovely sound, it doesn't need to be dubbed.
