I knew they were going to be great live as I saw them last October in Tempe 🎉. Great 2 day road trip to Seattle and Portland 😊.

Oh, I thought they were pretty good most of the night. Multiple circle pits, the floor was bouncing (this venue is known for that) and lots of fun. Maybe the crowd was resting a bit as these songs are lesser known and came right after Run Away (circle pits) and Pardon Me I Have to Go Now. These ladies are quickly becoming superstars!

I was in the mezzanine and the sound was incredible everywhere. Very comfortable seats for my 54 year old bulk. Everyone at the Crystal Ballroom was super cool and very professional. Soooo happy to get the chance to see Hanabie on their first US tour! So much energy! Not one complaint!

I was on the floor the night before in Seattle so was glad to be up there with you for this one. Yeah, the Crystal Ballroom has a unique vibe, the staff are great and the Portland crowd really know how to have fun. I think the ladies really enjoyed it and it showed in their performance. They played a few gigs in the US last year. I saw them for my first in Tempe in October. They are really tearing it up and are on their way to big things!!!

Sorry to hear you needed surgery but I started to laugh as I was reading your comment. A lot of these Japanese bands are great and seem to be able to get their fans very invested in them. My wallet hurts but I keep smiling😂.

@@BMCanuckSweet! Only time I ever went to consecutive shows were my very first concerts, DEVO then AC DC in 1981. First pit for me was Slayer/ Possessed in 1985. Dude did a stage dive with 6 inch nail Kerry King arm guards, was like the parting of the red sea. He bounced off the floor, all 250 pounds of him. Even got Kerry Kings autograph. Saw Metallica & Armored Saint the same year. Cliff Burton kicked ASS. He died 6 months later R.I.P.. Oh by the way, tickets were a whopping $10 .00.

HANABIE sounds great, I agree, beautiful venue, yet most of the crowd just standing there not even moving. They don't know how lucky they are. Love these ladies. they give it there all at EVERY gig!

I think this is mellower by their standards and most people did not recognize it as it was only released a few weeks ago. The crowd also needed a rest 😂.

@@BMCanuck Last years spinal surgery kept me from seeing Hanabie. in Seattle. LOVEBITES has only announced 4 US shows so far. If LOVEBITES comes to SEATTLE or Portland, I will be there even if I have to be in a wheelchair. There's nothing that excites or makes you feel more alive than seeing a LIVE show of talented musicians.

I saw Michael Schenker Group open up for Ted Nugent in 1984 in Seattle Wa. Happy to see Saki at #7. Was surprised that she left Nemophila. Ex-DESTROSE members keep leaving good bands for ??? Suprised to see Miyako on the list. Her phenomenal skills include being a concert pianist, can thump a mean BASS, and plays the DRUMS. LOVEBITES is my favorite band at this time.

It's amazing to watch their progression as a band. At first, they are a bit timid, a bit unsure, then bit by bit they develop, mature, get more and more adept at their craft. And today, wow, we have the full Band-Maid. Such an amazing journey to witness.

You are right! From when I first saw them live in Phoenix in 2022, to then in Portland and Spokane in 2023 and finally at the Yokohama tour final it was insane how much they had improved. They all progressed significantly but I think it was most evident with Saiki. The power in her voice, her command of the stage and her confidence are now off the charts! Can't wait to see them again.

Ah, that is unfortunate :(. I wondered how the Portland show would be but I think it was the best one on this tour. The weather, the ballroom, the crowd and the maids rockin it made for a wild night! Follow them so you don't miss out next time :).

Every time Saiki-san phrases the "Ai Shiteru" in the song... always gets me! It's the best phrasing of the word I've heard.

They're so amazing....I wish the Dethklok people were more open-minded. Babymetal is a once in a lifetime act, and Phoenix - sold out 6 months in advance at a 5000 seat venue - was a B-show. Just think about that. I paid $250 6 months before the show to sit in the upper upper deck and was happy to do it. They give it their all every single night, and other bands could learn something from that.

I think Saiki's vocals and Kanami's guitar work are off the charts on this one. Maybe their best slower tempo song. This band is great!

No. They replaced it with Memorable sandwiched between Yolo and Daydreaming. Anemone was great the night before in Portland. Awesome song!
