Nice unboxing. I'm thinking about getting a Howa with the Hera H7 chassis. You'd think with German engineering they'd be able to make the gap between the 2 halves of the stock a little tighter and more consistent. That's the only thing that bugs me a little about it. How's the chassis been working out for you?

Yup, I really like their Chassis setup, but the mags need some work. Magpul ACIS style mags work great in my setup.

@BigGunner81 Honestly man you should create a secondary channel showing off the farm and what you're doing on the farm. A lot of people would love that.

Yes I have been slowly working on that with feedthemcows.com but haven't had a lot of time to film and edit things. Usually, I'm busy getting my hands dirty.

Yep! Life outside of shooting and youtube sometimes requires more time.... Also note in this video I'm fighting off a cold or allergies not sure.. werr doing lots of fun stuff right now, and maybe we'll share some of it down the road, it's more farm stuff now, and learning to run Equipment like tractors, track loaders, a d back hoes... and running chainsaws cutting down trees... stuff like that... between 2 jobs, the farm stuff and the home site clearning it's been crazy... but that being said I am going to run out and go shoot my ruger 22/45 in the backyard shortly....

Not sure, I guess it would depend if it was left hand charging and if the bolt knob/handle was in the right spot.

This is a cool product,one suggestion/thing I think could be cool.sell targets that could be worn and vibrated or light up when hit and be able to use this as laser tag force on force training
@BigGunner81TV3 ай бұрын
Man thats a good idea. Basically be able to use your real carry dury for laser Tage type scenario. But id just want to make sure there are as many safety precautions put in place to eliminate the chance of a bad situation happening as much as possible.

@BigGunner81TV3 ай бұрын
I dont think so. I'll have to look at mine, but I think the ring was just to be used to stake the castle nut to help keep it from loosening. Maybe someone added some like tight or something to the threads on yours?

I just got my Ares Tactical holster. Because I'm a lefty and had a pistol/light/red dot combo that isn't common, I had to have a custom rig built. I couldn't believe how fast my holster was made and delivered, and with a PERFECT fit. Ares Tactical has my business whenever I need a holster from now on.

I know this is an old video, but I recently bought one of these. My solution to the subpar seam was I took painter's tape to the part that slides into the mag slot and truck bedliner the rest. It gives it a texture, making it stronger and easier to handle. (Just don't go over the bottom in case you need to replace the spring). I also did that to the fake suppressor on my Fake-a-Mac. The bedliner texture makes it easier to hold when bumping it).

It took me this long to find your video! I had no idea Criterion Mfg was a WI company and American Defense MFG wasn't even on my radar. Plus, thanks to an earlier (4 yrs ago) comment by "@jzargo7443", I now know about The Wisconsin Trigger Company. It certainly doesn't look like a primarily WI-originated parts built AR-15 will be cheap. edit: MGS Firearms is out of business, or at least no longer doing retail?
@BigGunner81TV3 ай бұрын
Yes MGS now only does coatings, I'm not sure if they are open for consumers, they might be only doing them for manufacturers. Wisconsin triggers are awesome too, I have one for this rifle as well. I would love to get back on this project someday soon.

Wrap the basic plate with 2 rolls of Gorilla tape and works better than the build up and is cheaper and replaceable

I just got this for my Rem 870 Tac Magnum shotgun. Took off an older vertical/angled hand grip. While I was used to the old grip and liked it, this AFG already feels way better. Have not thrown any rounds thru it with it on yet but only done some dry runs for feel. I was worried with the pump action I may have some issues as opposed to the AR style stationary use. But doesn't seem like it's gonna be a problem. I chose the more forward position as well for it. I tried the rearward but I feel more barrel tip control during swing motions.
