No stellarbuilt or martec engineering? Their sas 4runners on 40’s are way cooler than these broverlanders. Though these broverlanders are still very cool, dont get me wrong…

Mine is doing the same as others. I'll get it to work. Sometimes it will work maybe 10-15 times over a few days. Then it quits. I've had to keep needle nose pliers in my vehicle so I can reset it. It's usually when I've got to load the whole back end with groceries. Now it works only 1-2 times then quits again. The hardest part is getting the fuse box cover off!! Now it's winter and that is frustrating. Has anyone tried replacing that fuse? I see no damage to it though. My fuse is 19-yrs-old now. Just wondered if someone replaced it and it hasn't stuck anymore?? Wish there was a permanent solution.

2007 4R. Totally worked. Initially allowed me to open, but the motor didn't latch when i closed it and was latched, but still had play. Repeated the reset and it got the motor to open the gate. Thanks!

Car looks so cool. Awesome job. Plus I think you got a good deal, the new vehicles are so expensive.

I have a 06 w/ 58K miles in excellent condition. I tow a 4750 lbs dry weight camper with 670 lbs hitch weight. I want to bump up the rear of the Sequoia. What rear shock replacements do you recommend and would they improve the rear suspension?

Totally agree. I have a 2002 Lexus LX470 V8 running on LPG. Before buying this car, watch out for rust as I saw many Toyota/Lexus trucks which were totally rusted and/or leaking, which should be an absolute deal breaker. Never ever buy such a Landcruiser 100 with rust or leakages. Apart from the timing belt/waterpump replacement don't forget the valve adjustment (each 60k) which is pretty time consuming (especially with an aged car, expect bolts to break etc.) job which I have to outsource as I lack the skills, tools and time. Other than that, it's mostly about regular maintenance and preventive replacement of parts depending on wear/age. When running on LPG it's like economical (sort of) with €0,7/liter LPG. Beside from petrol/LPG, the running costs of this vechicle is not low due to expensive parts and required specific scarce knowledge (not if you are the guru yourself, which I am not). I love this car and will never sell it. It has character, is super comfortable and very good for overlanding. Oil consumption is zero at 230k miles.

Also, LED External Night Lights, especially headlights. Check tires/Replace, if appropriate. Undercarriage rust treatment, also. (You already checked for rust and wouldn't have bought the 'Runner if rusty.) I put retractable running boards on my 2019 'Runner, but then sold it when used car prices spiked 2-3 years ago. Then bought a 2007 TRD w/only 97k on it.

I really appreciate your video here today. My question is whether it's possible to fit*{Morimoto Gen 2XB LED headlights} (white DRL) on to my 2003 Toyota Sequoia limited edition?

I'm surprised it does not & that goes for a V 6 as well? Not even a air-conditioning system filter? Thx u.

I laughed reading the comments in this video, cause the first thing I was thinking was, holy cow, how tall is this guy?? My head isn't even in line with the roofline of my 05 Sequoia. But mine is lifted. And I'm 5'4", so . . .

After owning the sequoia for a while now, which vehicle do you like better between it and the 06 4runner? I currently have an 05 sequoia and I'm considering switching to a 4th gen 4runner

Hi, thanks for the video. Do you know where the part number 89530-3531x goes? It's the 4 wheel drive controller computer, and it goes somewhere behind the glove compartment. I need to replace that part on my 2004 4Runner. Thanks for the helpful videos.

This was PEAK oil filter placement. 1-3 gen sucks. 5th gen is so complex and fucking stupid. It’s a shame the 4th gen was so damn ugly and cheaply made.
