I saw them many times. Every time was better than the last. Daryl was loaded in this one, but he was still fabulous!

Second song into the gig and they're tearing it up - and they sustain this level for the rest of the gig. No band parties harder than the Doobs. Fucking awesome.

This is my FAVORITE performance of this song!!! (I even think about Daryl's moves in this sometimes on my own time, he made that much of an impression on me with this).

I hate the fighting between Hall and Oates. My first concert in Peoria, IL. And, then, I saw them 2 more times across a couple of decades from IL to OK to TX. We're too old for this shit, figure it out.

Well done and very well an Amazing concert! Help me understand why Tommy isn't singing on this song but shows up at the end. I've had this video for years.

This was a bitchen performance!!! I was just telling my daughter last night about this song, and THIS video, and we were laughing, cackling laughing so hard. When I was first familiar with this song back in the day, I had thought that Daryl was singing and talking about going to adult school, (you know, the night time classes for adults)?. So I had wondered back then, why would he be singing about that?! I didn't pay much attention to this song back then. But now, me being much older, and the mother of a grown daughter, I listened to this song more carefully now. And the part when Daryl sings, "graduating to adult kisses", well, that made me nervous. Because, what did he mean--for the high schooler to wait until graduation to kiss like an adult, or does it refer to a high school kid trying out kissing an adult man for the first time?? So when I told my daughter about that part in the song that made me nervous, she answered that her first thought hearing that, was that it reminded her instantly of the movie, Dazed And Confused, when Matthew McConaughey's character said that he liked high school girls, that he kept getting older, while they stayed young the same age!! That was her first thought. In the early to mid '80's, I guess high school girls must have been a big temptation to men back then. And coupled with that, the laws hadn't changed yet, so grown men could basically mess around with flirty high school girls who were looking for a good time. (And the men didn't get in trouble back then either). I myself was with a few young men up to 25 years old, when I was a teenager back then. People didn't realize then, that there was anything wrong with that. And I didn't bother to think about it either, because I had thought that older guys were fun and exciting back then. They approached me differently than a teenage boy my age would. And they were experienced too, and that added to the excitement!

When I was 18-22, I would have loved watching this video! (1984-1988). I would have been helplessly smitten with Daryl, and fantasized about him big time. I would have wanted him to seduce me. It would have surprised me at first to see him with the new long hair though, because I only knew him with the shorter hair from originally. But now, at my age and maturity, (especially if I didn't know who that was bouncing around on stage here), now I would say, (if I didn't know it was Daryl), I'd say, look at that punk with all the spunk! Now, I'm into more mature men. Like the Daryl of 2011, or the present day Daryl!

Mickey is one of the finest drummers around. With T Bone and GE this is superb groove all round≥
The most successful duo in musical history. Fact 👍. Daryl Hall has to be the greatest white soul singer ever, his mother a music teacher who specialised in vocals trained him daily from the age of 2 hence the incredible range in his voice which maintains that pure Philadelphia vibe. Amazing musicians.

Back in the day Hall and Oates were the at the top-their live shows were just so energetic and explosive. This was the best band ever to play with them I think it's the G.E. Smith band--the drummer is the best-he just really dominates the song with his beat. Whoever he is he just really on top of his game for this concert.

I saw H&O early 80's. I was really a fan of the heavier rock acts but this girl I met wanted me to take her to the show. Of course, back in those days I would have gone to a whittling contest if I thought it would help me make progress with the girl. So I'm sitting there at the show and I'm like, "...and there's that guitar player dude from Saturday Night Live!" (GE Smith). One of the best live shows I've ever seen, hands down
