I had this, and I had to return this. I purchased this with their absolute best laptop they had at the time. I wanted this setup to work both for productivity and gaming because my university was paying for my new setup, to help me with my Master's degree. Instead of buying two PCs (which is what I ended up having to do), I was hoping that this would allow me to have some transportation ability in comparision to a desktop. That way I could bring my work with me anywhere I had to go. Ideally I would only be using the laptop GPU while out in the field and when I got back home I could hook up the desktop GPU to help me complete my work that much faster, but with the extra bonus of being able to play games during my down time. Unfortuntely I found that the performance increase I was getting from this setup in comparison to just using the laptop GPU, was only a 20 FPS increase at best. I sent back all the Alienware products and after I got the full refund, I went and purchased a Asus ROG desktop and laptop. Both of which were able to output 40 to 60 more FPS at the time. Sorry I am not going into painstaking detail here but this all occurred almost ten years ago. The Asus ROG products worked so well in fact that I am still using them today and only in the last two years have I found that I have been having issues playing new release games and using updated 3d imaging software. I have actually started looking for a new PC this fall because as of the middle of 2025 I believe, windows is removing its support for windows ten. Unfortunately some of the programs I work with in order to do my academic research require me having a up to date form of windows. I am looking a getting a RTX 4090 X2 setup for my new PC, I was going to go with a Intel i9-14900KF or K CPU but I have been hearing that there is currently a 50% failure rate for those CPUs unfortunately. So I am most likey going the AMD route with a AMD Ryzen 9 9950X or a AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D. More than likely the 9950X due to its better productivity rating. I cannot wait to experience something significantly more powerfull than my current GPUs the Titan X and the GTX 980... It will be a huge jump for me. But those two card served me very well for the last decade, I just had to turn off Ray tracing on everything, even World of Warcraft as the settings kept getting higher and higher with every xpak... lol. This upgrade will definitely put a huge dent in ym wallet because I also have to by something better than my Asus ROG G-SYNC 1080p Monitor, more than likely at the very least a 1440p resolution monitor and at the very high end would be a 4K OLED Asus ROG monitor. Be careful… some of these “fake” comparisons are legit factory imperfections, it does happen. If you take em back to the store, they’ll refund / replace them… if they’re real that is. 👍

The coolest thing about this jacket is that this "woods" colorway is actually a cropped out Image from the album sleeve of the Black Sabbath debut album. If you look at the wash Tag it says BS Productions, just like on all the items they did in an actual collaboration with black sabbath from SS2016. I can also confirm that this jacket keeps you warm very well for how lightweight and packable it is. I wear it a lot in the wintertime here in germany.
