Its September 2024. And you sold me on this bag. I bought it off ebay for $80 (charcoal leather) Im pretty hyped.

There are so many videos of this backpack but not one person wearing it as a freaking backpack! The main point of looking for reviews is to see a backpack used for its main purpose.

I own multiple. I use one at my desk at work in the ER to hold everything I need on shift for 12 hours from stethoscope to trauma shears to otoscope and beyond. Makes it super easy to pull out everything at once from my work bag.

I will say... to me... these are two different times and places. Do you know what I mean? The Portland seems more casual and would be used differently in a different place where the zipper wouldn't be that big of a deal. I guess like a shopper I've been looking at both of these companies so I really appreciate this video and I subscribed right away. this video is three years ago, but there's still, super cute bags super classic. I've been doing vegan leather over 15 years now so part of me is feeling a little weird about buying leather again, but I heard their sustainably sourced so that's good. I'm not vegan and I eat meat if I don't buy leather goods try to buy sustainable then.....🤷‍♀️ I love caring leather, the smell of it the feel of it

Bought 3 Madewell bags and sold all my PLGs. PLG is really low quality compared to Madewell.

These defects are crazy for a $350 jelly bag. I loved the look and saw some used but that's a no I am not carrying tools to fix it. Plus you have to keep paying attention as you wear it.

Yea my coach 1941 wristlet strap disconnects from the bag on a regular basis, it is so annoying that I put a sakroots crossbody strap on it. 😊

I have same bag a piece of hardware fell off I can't connect the strap.

Thank you for a very honest review. I need a huge, durable tote for airport use, diaper bag use, and school textbook use. The bag must be versatile. I'm very abusive with my handbags so when I invest several hundreds of dollars in a real leather handbag, I expect the bag to function and not tear at the seams.

Wish I had viewed this video before ordering from Hammitt. My husband bought me a Hammit bag as a holiday gift, which I picked out. It was advertised as having a zipper--BUT it actually came with a weird half zipper in the middle of the bag--leaving both ends open. So disappointing. My stuff can literally fall out either side. Who does this??? And why?? Cost cutting? I have not yet tried to contact Hammitt. But will. I paid full price. It's pretty but honestly not as pretty as the pics. Again, disappointing.

Can't speak to MZ Wallace but have several nylon Tumi bags that were well over the $100 price point that have held up well. I have even thrown them in the washer.

I do agree the inside of her bags is definitely on the thinner side. I purchased the Bali Backpack in the prettiest kelly green color in September and I literally cant stop using it. Its probably my favorite bag I’ve ever owned.
