Can I put the unit on edge so the sensors touch the floor. I cannot move my washing machine.

Yes, you can place the unit anywhere as long as the metal sensors are lying flat on the floor. This ensures that if a leak occurs, the sensors will detect it through direct contact with the water.

Looks like a pain in the ass to me, I have tiled hundreds of rooms the old school way without a problem and a laser, I am not against the technology of a laser, they are great, I have used them for drop ceilings and a laser is a huge asset amongst other projects as well.

I was looking for a good review for this product and have no idea why they made this video. Why review it if you are working in a 4 foot closet you really don’t need to be square as if you were tiling in a large room. He was using it to check for square after he had already laid out the room and had tile down. The idea is to lay out a room with a device such as this first then you know you are square
