Great video, thank you for sharing, really useful information about campsites, water sources and Taz . When did you actually do the trail ? Was it in June when you posted it, or earlier..it was so quiet.
@pennyhikes98503 күн бұрын
Hi Conrad, I hiked the trail in the middle of May. I expected it to be busier, but it was very quiet.

When I am hiking solo, I arrange for a shuttle and leave my car where I plan to end my hike. I have left my car parked at a trailhead for several weeks without issue. If I am hiking with a partner, we usually take two cars and put one car at the beginning and one at the end. Hope this helps.

I chose the yellow seat for my snack break. I did the Shenandoah National Park last September and had the time of my life. Make sure to stop and eat at Big Meadows Lodge and Skyline Lodge. The food was phenomenal. The Wayside’s were kind of a let down but I still stopped at every one. Enjoy!! When you get to Front Royal try staying at Mountain Home. It was great!!

I have completed Shenandoah. Big Meadows was open but they were not serving food yet. It was still the off season.
