I’ve only seen 2 hornets on the rds in Northern California. Both were rentals. Both were seen in sf.

I paid 41k for my brand new 2024 Nissan Z. Why would anyone ever pay 37k for a slow rebadged alfa which is just a rebadged fiat.

Made in Italy. It’s a re-branded badge engineered Alfa Romeo. Great car over there . Expensive to fix and not known to hold up on USA highway use. Still, nice looking and we hear they drive nice.

They're setting up a negotiation win for the buyers. People will come and pay the MSRP if the dealer cuts off the dealer fee. That's why its so clearly marked

They could not sell Fiats in the USA. Now they are trying to sell rebadged Alphas as Dodges. Won’t work. They may be nice-looking, but priced way too high for starters. They might sell a few if priced low! Why didn’t they try to sell rebadged Fiats as Plymouth’s? That would have been about as smart and would have gone nowhere, also, unless priced under everything else just like the Dart should hav3 done. I am a Dodge fan. I wish I had good advice for Stellantis. They certainly are making bad decisions one after the other. It is desperation time!

Stellantis supposedly has a new electric model coming out at the end of 2024 under the Chrysler/Dodge name for the US market. . Why? I hope they can make something that is new and different and desirable and at a reasonable price, but I doubt it. They have not given Chrysler fair treatment with new models. Except for a Chevy SUV that I cannot name, Tesla’s, Escalades and Tahoe’s which to me are not SUV’s, they all look the same. I look at SUV’s in city stop and go traffic, and mostly for the life of me cannot identify them unless I see the nameplate, and often the model name is unreadable. So why look at another generic and overpriced “new” model? The Hornet, Tonale, the Polestar, and the Mustang Mach-E all look the same in traffic.

I half-assed tried to buy one a while back. I was in the market for a sub-30k beater. My REWB is currently my daily. While I do plan to regularly drive it, I would like to get something that's a bit more sensible for inclement weather and so on. I couldn't get these guys to budge on that markup and I don't like it enough to go shopping an hour away. The one I tried to buy was $29k, and was on their lot 312 days (403 days in total within their auto group according to cargurus.com). Still, they wouldn't budge on removing that add-on package. Absolute refusal. I ended up settling on an el cheapo base trim Bronco.
