Unfortunately this laptop have been suffering from overheating issue right from being brand new. Cleaning and applying new paste may somewhat help for laptops in condition like shown, but the real fix would be to somehow provide more cooling surface. I am having an i7-2640M processor which is fine when idling (as shown at the end of the video), but as soon I start loading it (with like encoding videos or rendering images) it quickly overheats, no matter how clean it is, and how new the paste used.

That because it was made for less work not for rendering pictures , you need a better gpu

@@harounsahnoun It is like having a Ferrari, but required not to exceed 50 kph, because it falls apart. Shameful thermal design by Dell. I checked your video because I am trying to retrofit some additional heatsink and hoped that someone had a real fix for it.

They are high speed switching or switch mode power supply. They regulate extremely well and for digital applications the only way to go. They operate in the 47,000hz range. SMPS. Are awesome. Well regulated and can run from a input of as low as 80vac-250vac. Output voltage DC rock solid. These Manufacturers hate it when you repair their product so they do injustice shit like sealing the enclosure together with various methods. I remember a commodore 64 power supply that was literally "Filled " with epoxy. They made it so you have to buy a new power supply from them that was the same way . Designed to last only a certain length of time.

I have updated the firmware (unlocked) but only 2g network is working, if i select auto, 3g or 4g the signal light turns red and shows 'no service'... I even tried repairing/changed imei but no solution... Plz help

excelent job!! thank you for sharing the video! definatelly you should have much more viewers. In one video you gave a great methodology for detecting the problems. i have identical laptop (Toshiba satelite L50-B-11H PSKTAE-01N008GE) with all voltages onboard but black screen. I downloaded the bios from the official website in .exe. i unzipped it and edit the .fd erasing the extra lines compared to the bios dump file. I'm not 100% if the edited .fd file is valid. If it's ok for you please share the .bin or .fd bios file you used, the bios version and your board model. Also if you have a schematic or/and boardview file. Moreover, i'm looking for the bios short pad, without a valid schematic i can't find it to reset the bios. If you know where is on the board you'll help me a lot. thank you

Hi sir Haroun :) can you help me i was trying to locate the cmos battery of my toshiba L50-B laptop. i cant find it in the toshiba board. (model board Dablidmb8e0 rev: E i hope you can help me here, the problem occur when im trying to change the boot sequence in usb to format the laptop.after i save it to the bios and reset i only see black screen with light with no display.
