I once asked a man if he'd like me to bag his milked. He basically treated me like I was stupid after.

It becomes a burrdon when they what frozen sea food, beef and any other frozen meat sperated and making sure your not using to many bags or too heavy, and it's a nightmare to get that down, is like there no rule of thumb or guide to help you in their of what to do in those sencerio when happeneds almost every day, will also having a limited time to do so, while there are at least 5 more cashiers that need help and not enough people around since either their on brake or getting carts, is a maze while you have be careful of traffic around you and even worse if you have small & large carts, a lot of people don't keep it organized so it much more to do and what rubs salt in the wound is the plastic carts that go only in certain way otherwise your breaking them and you have to go in a Y to get them inside which can't really do that well since they sway in one direction really adds the challenges when most of the of the carts you got before hand are pretty much entirely gone or almost none left, especially around the holidays month (mainly thanksgiving week, almost the end of December & January 1 )

gotta be organized. Take care of one customer at a time. You didn't make the schedule - just do your best.

No you can’t. You have to call a carry out if your store allows it. Some stores are different tho and the cashier has to leave

She said to put only 6 cans in a bag. My sentiments exactly. 6 cans in a bag is sufficient. If you put in anymore than that the bag will become much too cumbersome and much too heavy for elderly and disabled customers to carry. The weight distribution should be distributed evenly in each bag so it won't be too heavy and too burdensome for customers to load in their cars. And it will also make it less burdensome for customers to unload once they get home. Most stores want you to build walls and fill up the bags in order to eliminate bag waste. By building walls I mean putting boxes one on each side of the bag and then putting cans and other heavy items in the middle of the bag and filling out the middle with filler items and then putting crushable items like chips and bread at the very top. That is all very good but if you put it at the very top the handles with crush the bread and chips and thus further crowd the handles. In that particular case it is always best to keep all bread and chips in their own separate bags in order to prevent damage. And keep all bakery items in their own separate bags as well. And keep all chemicals in their own separate bag in order to prevent contamination to other food items. And keep all meat and frozen items in their own separate bag in order for them to retain their freshness and to further prevent contamination to other grocery items. It is best not to build up sidewalls while bagging. Keep all boxes together. And keep all cans together. Do not exceed six cans per bag. They further contend that by building walls that it will keep the customers groceries from falling over in their cars. Even though that may be true it can also make the bags much too cumbersome and much too heavy for customers in which to carry and it may even burst under pressure. It is much better to be safe than sorry. Always consider the customer and bag it like you would for your own mother. Your mother wouldn't like overly loaded bags now would she? And neither should you. You should always tend to your customers needs at all times.
