Because of the Hammer Episode in S1, Aman and Namita didn't invest in Recode. In the end, it's their choice, but then by that logic, all the categories that Sharks' companies operate in, should be blocked from coming on the show, if they are going to get rejected anyways.

She always questions the valuation of a company when it's pre revenue / revenue just started. "How can u ask for this valuation?" I wonder if FB would have come to her after 1 year asking for 100cr valuation.... she would have demeaned Mark Zukerberg as well. 😅

Sharks don't invest in companies that are pre-revenue. Unless, it's something that creates a good image in front of people or sends a good message to the world. Or when it's really intriguing like Nuutjob in Season 1. And tech valuations are a little bit different. There are companies that go for huge valuations even when they are pre-revenue.
