I disagree. I like the "over the shoulder view" I hate first person games. I love a game with a good story. Who wants to play a mindless game that all you do is fight, shoot things and blow things up. I guess a 12 year old perhaps. These games are for a more mature audience. Congratulations to studios such as Naugty Dog for figuring out how to draw in a different caliber of players. If it weren't for these games that you speak so negatively about I wouldn't have ever bought a ps5.

Best thing I think is to do a free DLC of new zones and Zone of Unused Zones, plus Mastersystem Sonic Zones. New characters like Amy. Like How Lizardcube did the free DLC for Streets Of Rage 4.

i mean that's the downside of being a console peasant, you get a very limited portfolio of games which on consoles and their "exclusives" is pretty much a cutscene/walking simulator

I do think that last of us is overrated. But ruined gaming nah. But I do see the impact it has made on single player games as a whole, especially with the over the shoulder camera and even long periods of walking. But reading some of the comments I also see people jumping down your throat and think that's annoying. Personally, I get the point of your video and understand. A game should be both gameplay and story. Jak 2 in my opinion was a great story and had fun gameplay this is my example. I feel that a lot of these story games now have to deal with real life issues, Issues like my daddy issues, some kind of mental issues, of kind of sexual orientation issue, something about race. This to me is the problem, it's sad to say that nowadays stories are not good if they don't involve these issues. I use games to get away from my problems of the world for a moment, not to be remined of them. the one thing I would say about your video is this, it did not ruin gaming as a whole but left a huge impact on singleplayer games.
