@nahuelbonfante7064 hace 0 segundos Hi Kyle, I view your video, and I it is really good. The elements you incorporated are precisely what I have been seeking for a segment of my doctoral thesis. Could you please inform me of the best way to get in touch with you? I am eager to discuss the possibility of utilizing some of these elements within my thesis. Best

Please can you tell me about the materials used in the oil refining process
@joefish14392 жыл бұрын
About 45 percent of a typical barrel of crude oil is refined into gasoline. An additional 29 percent is refined to diesel fuel. The remaining oil is used to make plastics and other products (see image Products made from a barrel of crude oil, 2016).

Kyle, the VGO (Vacuum Gas Distillate) -- aren't you missing a vacuum distillation tower that reprocesses the heavier oils to get more of the lighter oils? Where would you put that? It seems that you could have added the reformers, catalytic crakers, hydrotreater, reformers, and isometrization units as well. I wonder if you could do that in a way that would make it all understandable. Could you help?

I cannot hear anything from your video, so I don't understand it and it's not my problem

The original was created for a live presentation and the recorded audio was unusable. Between the coloring and the legend, along with the large placards on the various parts, you can gather the overall process, if not the specifics.

There are a number of important processes that are not shown. Not all refineries have cokers. Besides cokers do not process Atmospheric Tower Bottoms. You have no Vacuum Column,, Cat Cracker, or Alky. These are important parts of all major refineries. It is a good start and a good visual. Keep it up.

Hi do you have a description of each process based on your video? I can't contact you privately
@KRBraget7 жыл бұрын
The narration was to have been live during the presentation, so I don't have a copy, unfortunately.
@JealMayGelogo7 жыл бұрын
Aww okay, thanks a lot anyway. Though I needed the description of each process, your video has been a great help as a guide for my project.
