I got one of the Nock R zippered cases, and a few sleeves…really impressed with the quality. Shipped fast, nice little extras included. This roll is beautiful! Thinking about getting one, or maybe a second zip case.

This was a great comparison video. I love my hobonichi weeks, it fits in my Notiq slim wallet cover. I also have the hobonichi techo planner in A6 which I have started using as a work journal and I love it.

Thank you so much for your super informative videos. I'm currently trying to decide between a Gillio Appunto Slim and VDS Codex Standard Mega. What are your thoughts between the VSD and Gillio; do you have a preference in terms of brand? Which do you think was easier to order from and had a better customer service experience? For Gillio, do restocks on colors only happen after they announce them on the FB live streams, or do they also stock randomly? I have a color combo from Gillio I wanted but not sure if I'll ever get it since it looks like they don't have items readily available like VSD. Also, does your VDS B6 fit into your Cassie like the Gillio B6? Would love to hear your thoughts! Thanks! :)

They are both very good but I do have a preference for Gillio because I think you get more for your money. With VDS you have to pay for every customization you request so the total can add up really fast. I also think it’s easier to order from Gillio as the VDS website can sometimes be difficult to navigate through and not all customization are available on the website you have to email the owner back and forth. As for customer service I had great experiences with both!! The only downside with Gillio is like you said you have to wait for them to restock a particular color and it can take some time. They only announce them on FB live although sometimes they may stock randomly especially with the good deal section so it’s worth keeping an eye. You can also check the buy sell trade group on FB for the color combo you’re looking for. I would say if you cannot wait and there is a color you like at VDS then ask for a quote. If you can wait I’ll suggest Gillio because the slim appunto comes with a perfect layout for me. If I wanted the same layout in a VDS it would end up costing too much. But if you’re ok with the layout that comes with the codex standard mega without adding customizations or you’re interesting in a different layout then the Gillio then why not! Let me know what you decide 😊 also the B6 codex does fit in my Cassie!

Also got a cousin, my current planner/normal for this year and next. Some of my favorite inks are Robert Oster ones: fire and ice, river of fire, and great southern ocean. @@MrRogersTrolley I’ve only used the hard covers but the soft cover will fit a Gillio appunto slim however it’s a bit shorter than the hardcover so it might be a bit more loose in the Gillio. I usually prefer the hardcover because there is more choices in colors and I lays completely flat when it’s opened. I hope this helps 😊

I love the weeks for my everyday carry! I have that F1 book this year too because I love watching Formula 1. 2022 I will use the Dreamscape weeks and I am using the A6 daily for work notes. I want to try a cousins for work but still undecided. Thanks for sharing!

Oh I love the dreamscape weeks, great choice! The F1 weeks for 2022 is really nice too but it’s a shame that they don’t it in the mega size. I have yet to try the Hobonichi A6! The cousin worked great for me as a work planner until I needed more that one page per day. Thanks for watching! 🤗

I totally agree! It was a surprise for me because I thought it was going to be way too small. For **as long as** daily planning does not need to be highly itemised, this is the perfect system. I tried to move to a Cousin, then realised that the Weeks note section at the back with numbered pages is a huge part of my way of organising and planning. The Weeks is the only format that has this. One wish I have is that they pre-print the index page for us to cover ALL the pages. But that is not a big deal 😁 Thanks for sharing!

You kind of have to adjust and train the leather to fit the A6 with both covers tucked in. Even with epoca leather. I just adjust the book to sit how I like it then after a bit no more adjusting needed the leather moulds to it.
