i’m going back to trying my old navy focused build since i have a decent amount of lucci at my local. the bonney matchup definitely feels rough from what i remember but i don’t run the revo package so i have less aggro. the fact that she can tap down a kuzan, brook, or jack makes sequencing very difficult. against black though, you make their lives very complicated lmao

What do you think about using the green Mihawk that lets you summon a slash character. It’s an amazing turn 2 move with kikunojo Nekomamoshi and cracker. Kind of a lateral move because that early 7k swing guarantees u a life

I built a sabo deck but its more aggressive with a lot rush cards. Imo you should put hina 5c blocker in and sabo 5c blocker both come in clutch against yamato and hina can stop some attacks as well

I’ve had minor success with an OP08 animal kingdom package. Blocker apoo is amazing with the this leader.

do you think we swap the Haruta for the promo koala once that’s localized? I have been experimenting with this deck and it’s so so fun, i also tried the starter deck smoker since it’s a 5/7 that can’t be KOd by effects so they have to swing into it (and we can just use leader ability to protect it). Awesome video tho, will definitely try out this list

I just built Arlong, and I love the aggro/tempo playstyle he adds to the table. Would like to see an OP-8 build with the seraphims coming out. S-Hawk looks interesting, and the 3-drop Jewelry Bonny might be worth testplaying.

I really like moria on this sabo, with the 2k counter brook, you can get moria, a borsa/karasu for example, and the brook making you hitting by 7 and getting the ability in 8 don!!

i brought a Navy Sabo list i saw on JP twitter to locals one night and the lucci matchup is very easy, it’s just a game of protect the kuzan. puts them in a very tight spot, highly recommend

I love this leader, but gets totally dominated by rp law. If that could be solved I think it becomes incredibly strong with 5c Hina blocker.

What are your thoughts on the 5c Hina to freeze an opponents attack? Would it be worth running over Sabo blocker? I’ve also been thinking to try the 10c Shanks that can K.O. a 10k or less to clear a kid or zoro jus to help against the Bonney matchup

So far in my experience. RB Sabo has been great at my locals. Havent lost to lucci nor BY luffy yet. But i am running a heavy black engine instead of the aggro route!

Nice vid! RB sabo is one deck I’ll always try to make work. Your build is really similar to a build I would use back in 05 to beat my local sakas and enels with the straw hat engine and brook specifically putting in overtime in these matches. I’m shifting to try to build him more black than red and I’m excited for new Hina from the smoker reprint for this lead. She is hard to remove with the plus cost and gives a rested don to lead. It’s worth a shot if u enjoy the lead, but I know u lean more into the red side of a lot of ur decks

I would recommend yellow blocker sanji too for this deck

The double gravity blade was wrong 😭 The way I was trying Arlong out was the east blue package still using the new 2k rika from the zoro sanji deck thay restands slash characters that along with the Mihawk 2k that lets you play more if you want. Promo Zoro, kiku, cracker, Arlong, and hachi are my slash characters. I use east blue still cause i like the nami searcher trigger, Gin, and krieg are good at removing board if you need that. And also been messing around with Neko as another slash body to play out

Hey man i hacking resulta with UTA in locals. This are My advices, bepo instead saga x 4, use only 2 barracat and add 4th shiraiya, add 3 Carina She's amazing on late game just like ain x 3. She excels cleaninng board with fire fist x 4. Don't use shiki 2k, is better Shiki bloquer also complete on curve tesoro to shiki + bloquer cost 3. In also running 2 jet pistol instead of film event because You can clear 8k with UTA o 10k with fire fist or 12 k UTA + fire. Don't be affeaid of the hand a give a try on build field with low cost bloquers instead queen

On the gecko turn for lucci he should’ve at least played spandam to get a 2k in hand maybe

Very interesting, I love seeing off meta decks but quick question. I’m not 100% on the Specifics of Kin’emon effect but can you possibly use hiyori to play the 6c Kinemon card fron op01 by using leader effect to make it go from a 6c to a 5c? The effect says activate main compared to op02 sanji who says just once per turn. Idk it’d be cool if that would work

Have you considered using the ranked system in the sim? you won't encounter 08 decks that way.
