@@mattcurtis5208 it’s to do with the manufacturing of worktops. High silica = greater hazards to workers from a disease called silicosis. The industry is shifting to low silica to make it safer to work with, so that workers are less susceptible to the disease. There is no harm to the end user since it comes from the dust when cutting/polishing quartz worktops specifically. It’s significant in this case because these were the first low silica quartz products to come out.

We are at the tail end of an iceage. The ice has been melting, and methane and other gases are being released, and in a few years, it will be getting colder. And in a thousand years, we will be heading into a new Ice Age. The earth has been in this cycle of heating and cooling for millions of years.

What do you mean? France invented the term 'droits de l'homme'.

France is not known for human rights. that's finland
@florianwroblewski635410 күн бұрын
Of course my country is known for that 🤦 "Droits de l'homme et du citoyen" has been created the 26th of August 1789. French revolution, Louis XVI, Marie-Antoinette, if you open a book already, this will give you some hints probably... Five principals rights for all : -All men are born equal in rights -Liberty -Property -Safety -Resistance to oppression. You're welcome. Finland... FFS...

Amazing that such a tiny country can be so rich. Kind of begs the question why is the UK so far behind, we're like 28th or something lol. No excuse when you look at these, just leadership and decision-making!

Looks more like a golf course than a garden to me. Not saying they didn't do a beautiful job if that was what the homeowners wanted...they did. But to me a garden involves flowers, fruiting tree/bushes, vegetables even. Biodiversity is a garden to me. That is a monoculture with non-porous surfaces on half of it. This will take so much time, fertilizer and effort/money to keep pristine.
