I bought a Grote semi acoustic it arrived but when I went to unbox it, I was surprised that it was packed in a Polystyrene box taped with masking tape I was very disappointed when I discovered that the of the guitar had a huge crack in the neck, I bought the guitar on ebay. 😢

My experience with both models is that the Seydel steel reeds last much longer than hohners brass ones. The SSS is very durable; they really last. But to me, the steel reeds are less responsive too. The SSS takes more breath so they are harder to play. Sss are great harps but other models are more agile. Just my humble
