great video! Love you shotkam footage and pigeon videos. Would you ever consider a tutorial? Set up, spacing, direction of decoys etc? Im struggling with mine!!
@cropscartridges12912 жыл бұрын
Yes that’s certainly something I’d consider doing. Not saying I’m perfect but if you could gain any knowledge to help improve your days out in the field I’d be happy to give it a go 👍

The noise of the wind was a bit distracting but the slow motion footage was great stuff with some good shooting - keep them coming.
@cropscartridges12912 жыл бұрын
Yes I apologise for that. Sadly I don’t have a cover for the mic. I’m looking to upgrade my camera soon. I would put music over it but in my previous videos it seems people prefer without. New to this film making but hopefully be bringing out some good content soon. Thanks again 👍

i would not like to pluck them birds by the look of how close they looked, some of them would not be fit to be used for alot, also shooting them on ground, ah not for me each to there own
@cropscartridges12913 жыл бұрын
All the birds I shoot go to the hawks. I shoot them with steel which goes straight through causing very little damage to the meat, unlike lead which deforms on impact and causes far more damage! As for close range shooting the ShotKam makes them appear closer than they are and I shoot full chokes so yes they are very dead, which in my opinion, is the least I can do and most ethical way of shooting. I rarely shoot them on the ground however if the opportunity arises I take it. After all it’s a pest control exercise not for sport despite the fact I regard and respect them as the ultimate sporting quarry!

That was some of the best footage I’ve seen in ages - I’ve subscribed - please keep them coming. I am intrigued about the emphatic kills - what cartridges/chokes are you using? Most of those birds came down as if they were pole axed. I also suspect you’re good enough at this game to decoy them well within range and not rely on speculative 70yd shots. Whatever you’re doing keep on doing it. Great Stuff.

Graham Edwards cheers mate appreciate it. I use 1/2 & 1/2 extended Teague chokes and eley vip steel bio wad cartridges. Steel patterns very tight so it’s more like shooting full & full
