I was in Rome in the summer of 2019. I had a private tour at the Roman Forum, Lulus Forum and we walked from there until Piazza Navona passing by the Piazza Venezia, Trevi Fountain. The tour guide was explaining to my wife and me how used to be the Ancient Rome, but I couldn’t imagine never the magnitude of how it really was. I really appreciate your video, it makes me travel in time and walk Ancient Rome. Thank you.

Imagine the kind of ego you would need to justify building something like that. Especially with that giant statue of himself.

Romans would go down as the greatest of all humanity, absolutely staggering to look at their abilities and organisation, and we today only see a tiny fraction of their capabilities of their society.

What i love about the ancient egyptians it was like a crime to have a piece of blank wall , they had to have something on it , the mystifying thing is, why did they leave the inside of the pyramids blank .🤔

A quei tempi i tuoi antenati neanche esistevano e vieni a parlare di condizionatori.
So ugly today. Nothing beautiful to look at. Its all gone. Nothing left but rubble. Not spending my money to go over there and see broken columns and pieces of weathered marble strewn everywhere. Not worth it to me.
